Morbid Jealousy

http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/morbid-jealousy-families-of-killers-victim...

oh another excuse to kill someone...... well I suppose it beats sleep walking murder....

its amazing how some suddenly get this mental sickness only when they kill someone....prior to that there is no sign of morbid jealousy.????

well thats the way it appears..... Angry Angry Angry

Tannous will be placed in mental health custody alongside other killers who pleaded insanity due to morbid jealousy like Arnold Coleman, John David Biggs, Cemil Guler and Huy Pham.

Maguy’s niece Jessica Karam said Mr Tannous had phoned her 73-year-old mother after the vicious attack and urged her to get home so she could see her daughter “alive one last time”.

“He kept hitting her and hitting her and the coward only called police because he saw half her skull on the other side of the room,” Ms Karam told The Saturday Telegraph.

“There was blood everywhere. She had no chance of surviving.

George Tannous will come out with no conviction at all and what does this say to all the men out there … ‘if I am jealous of my wife and I stalk her I can now say I am an insane man and get out of custody’?”

Mr Cowdrey said he had long held the view that the verdict not guilty by reason of mental illness was “confusing and unsatisfactory”.

“Technically it is correct and that is probably why government has been slow to act,” he said.

so jealousy is an excuse to kill or even a reason.. at this rate... Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

This still cannot beat this one..

16 year old, driving under the influence, killed four people.

http://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-echochambers-25374458

Defence: a case of Affluenza.

Result: no jail time, 10 year probation.

Bitter pill for the victim's family I say.

After viewing the lengths to which the p-spikes and the media went to determine that a simple, joking, laughing Martin Bryant was not insane or at least mentally insufficient to stand trial....... this guy would have to have been totally certifiable.

I mean, when discussing the injured at Port Arthur, and realising that he was being accused of that, after an extensive time saying he had not done the killings.... Bryant asked how many months he'd get for injuring those people.  He had no idea what they were talking about.

Anyway - this guy would have to be the full goods... but should never be released.

ADDS:-  Oh - 'morbid jealousy' is a cultural thing..... and it seems that it may be so in this case to some extent at least..... how much does that weigh on the interpretation of the law?  Are we now to accept that those of a certain cultural caste can now commit 'honour killings' and be deemed not guilty due to insanity.. meaning they are all insane?  In which case - why are they here?

Capital punishment is a matter of taking out the garbage. But nobody wants to take out the garbage. And so the kitchen stinks.
