Australia is more multicultural than the US.

A higher percentage of ethnic people claim to feel part of the community in Australia than they do in the US.

The difference is that many immigrants display the American flag outside their homes. They are proud to be American which is something you just don't see here because they are too busy rebuilding their own countries here Sad

Not being flag waving patriots has worked for some time in Australia. We knew we are a great country and didn't have to ra ra about it. That's not working anymore.

The American sickly sweet apple pie patriotism appears vomitus, but actually works.

As I mentioned before, I went to school for a few years in USA. This works.

when these minority groups grow and finally take over the Govts of these countries..

We just have to accept that not all cultures are equal.

A culture is just a collection of ideas so are we at a point where we can't say one idea is better than another?

Countries like Afghanistan are failures because their culture is crap. No nice way to put it. Saudi would be a failure if not for their oil wealth.

It's totally illogical to believe that people from these countries can turn up and check their bad ideas at the door.
