Why I love wearing hijab
And so I eventually started to become repulsed by the same attention I once found flattering. I became acutely aware of situations in which I was being sexualised without my consent, and of men who had no interest in me other than a physical one.

I'd just like to address this part which I feel is the most important part of the post.

This is obviously an issue in the heavily patriarchal societies. Just have a read of travel blogs of women traveling not only in Muslim countries but India and the unwanted and constant sexual attention is always an issue.

We also need to examine the sexual harassment which has occurred in Europe when Muslim men are instantly transplanted into societies where the way women dress has not been an issue for a very very long time.

I'm not about to say there is no sexual harassment in modern secular societies but it's becoming more and more frowned upon and less of an issue.

Maybe my view of the world is distorted as I spend a lot of time in Bondi where the women are strong, empowered, successful and wear what ever the flap they want. It's just not relevant.

Muslim women in western secular countries can chose to wear or not wear head coverings but that choice is redundant because they only have that choice because they live in a modern secular society which has nothing in common with the places where head coverings are NOT an option.

All the debate on women having the choice to wear or not wear head coverings is actually misdirecting where the TRUE energy should be expended, which is the way men in heavily patriarchal societies treat women.

To those suffering from Islamophobia, it's always relevant.

The rest of us sane folk, though, understand that it's completely irrelevant.

as per usual Mothra is talking a good deal of drivel and really does not understand masculine energy and feminine energy.

The dynamic , as i would read it , is this.

Waleed is a people pleasing , beta male.
This is "low status " to a woman and she will not be attracted to him sexually.

Women (especially intelligent women)  and Waleeds wife seems an achiever, are only attracted to the alpha male.

This guy is very confident, a stud, takes control of his woman , dominates his woman (in a way she enjoys).

Smart women like to "let go"

They have been grinding it out all day at work and , in the new feminist world, they can detect , at a subliminal level , that they are losing touch with the "divine feminine".

A high achieving woman , likes nothing more than a super confident guy to just "dominiate" her in the bedroom.

She likes nothing less then a wimp who wont "man up"

submission is something she enjoys, at least during the first half of the sexual encounter.

By wearing the Hijab, she is communicating to Waleed, at least in the sub communication.

Take me, be a MAN,  i want you to penetrate me , the way you penetrate the world.
i want to feel my girly emotions in the safety of the super confident, super dominant alpha male.
I'm sick of your do-gooder, hand wringing beta male persona.

Do me properly or i will find a stud who will.

Why do you think so many high powered women end up in an affair with some assh*le bar tender or limo driver.
because he wasnt a gawd dammed lefty beta male  Wink

What impact does nudity, or more importantly, provocative clothing have on men Setanta?

Particularly men who see women as property?

Well I can't answer that for the obvious reason, I don't see women  as property. I can answer what impact nudity has on a perfectly(I hope) normal male born in Au. Interested? Not much of a deal at all, certainly wouldn't shout at them, let alone beat them to death/

I have found when swimming topless i get more stare-downs from women than men.

But i argue that covering my breast with brightly coloured material does more to attract attention to them than not wearing anything at all.

Nudity is, i find, less erotic than barely there clothing. Not that i'm nude. I wear shorts.

Can you tell me when you're planning on doing this next so I can test your findings.

No evidence whatsoever it can be attributed to George Orwell or Eric Arthur Blair (in fact the same guy)

Are you sure? You don't think Monash University would have considered his religion before they gave him tenure? You don't think SBS, the SMH and Channel 10 would have considered his religion before employing him? You don't think the Walkley panel would have considered his religion before making him columnist of the year?

Oh, Greggery, you're so naive.

Yes, in the same way as weather girls' beauty is irrelevant.  What really got them there is their meteorological knowledge.

what i'm saying is a lot of women enjoy being submissive.  they miss being dominated.

a love bite involving a bite to a womans neck during love making , could be seen as an "assault".

i would imagine it would qaulify as such if it leaves bruising.

How many women enjoy being assaulted in this way.

theres the group think and then theres reality.

The teenage girls going over to be "wifed up" by islamic state fighters??

still want to argue that a lot of women dont crave an alpha male to take control, so they can just "let go" and "surrender"

it must be awful for a woman to make love to a hand wringing , neurotic, leftie who feels women should be put on a pedestal. No wonder sales of viagra have made it the worlds most profitable drug  Wink

How does your horse theory stack against claims by dominatrix's worldwide (at least in every documentary I've ever seen where the topic has come up) that the majority of their clients are business leaders, or as you would call them alpha males?

You're having a few too many wet dreams there scoot.
Homo sapiens is a bit distant from Equus to draw these analogies. And he's no more distant in his/her genetic makeup than the propensity for individual difference.
Still it's not unpleasant to muse on with a glass of wine in your hand and a good-looking lady somewhere nearby.

simple.

business leaders and high achieving women have to take on lots of responsibility at work. they have to be a bit aggressive.

to "balance themselves" they just want someone else to "take charge"

Mrs Waleed, by dressing in a submissive way , is telling waleed, to take charge.
