If you watch the project, you deserve to be subjected to sanctimonious posturing from a bobble-headed boy in a suit.

Listen to his radio program - Aly and a philosopher discuss the big ideas.

I recommend it. You’re free  in the mornings, yes?

He is now the expert on all things internet apparently. Probably thousands of hours on twitter gives him the quals as a guru.

"WALEED Aly is one of the few Australian media personalities you’ll come across who refuses to interact on social media."

"Aly, who joined Carrie Bickmore and Pete Helliar as a permanent presenter on The Project in January, is the only member of the team without a social media presence. The 37-year-old maintains he’s always been “quite passionate about not being on it”.

“I think if you’re not careful, it can infect your work,” he told news.com.au. “If I were to go on air and in the back of my mind is something churning about what Twitter is going to say then all I will do is betray my job, basically."

Straight to the personal attacks , why , because he is dead right, fancy talking about a 21st century economy and giving us a 60th in the place connection thats slower , will take longer amd is more expensive , epic failure from team rightard , once again  Roll Eyes

I agree with him about the NBN, but why does he need to make his wife wear a bag on her head to make his little sky friend happy?

probably because she is ugly now stick to the issue of our 2nd generation dial up internet Sad

So he supports modernity when it comes to the NBN yet for his wife he's happy to make her wear bronze age attire. A bit contradictory? I wonder if he's only attacking the NBN as it's a suitable and justifiable platform for yet another attack against the right

Moving onto his wife, now are we?

You’re not racist, Gordy. Waleed Aly’s wife is one of us.

It’s Waleed who’s the snippy little brown bastard.

Where have I mentioned his tint ? I've only questioned his judgement about believing so firmly in a pretend sky friend that he makes his wife wear a Haloween costume.

Why do you always mention people's skin colour? Are you in fact an agent provocateur working for the KKK?

You go first, Gordy. Why are you discussing his wife?

I’ll then happily answer your question.

I'll watch The Project on days that Waleed is on, and Bickmore is not.

Otherwise, I try to avoid it.

Waleed Aly is as far from a token Muslim as you can get. He’s established a formidable media presence in spite of being a Muslim. Aly is probably the only TV presenter who made a transition from academia. He’s one of the youngest lecturers to get tenure.

Waleed Aly is an aberration. He’s got to where is is because he’s smart.

Ah so you can open podcasts of Muslim apologists yet you can't manage when it's an ex HuT whistle blower. How bizarre

It was just another lie from the Islamophobes.

Lies and irrational fear: that's all they have.
