No, I think the things they believe are batsh!t crazy.
I think anyone who believe in religion is mad, but that doesn't mean their opinions on other things are any less valid .. it has nothing to do with his comment on the NBN. That you can't differentiate between the two makes you an islamaphobe.
When Turnbull made one of his many comments on the NBN, how many times did you bring his Christianity into it? Or Abbott? or anyone else that wasn't Islamic?
Well it does for me.
IMHO, Turnby is a small c Christian. (See text below) He doesn't base his political decisions in strict accordance of his faith.
Abbott on the other hand, anyone who kisses Pells ring
I find unfit for office. I'm an avowed Abbott hater.
Mrs Ali wears a bag on her head because obviously Mrs Ali is deeply religious, so they both go into my nutjob pile.
Raised Presbyterian, Turnbull converted to Roman Catholicism in 2002.[96] However, he has found himself at odds with the church's teaching on abortion, stem cell research and same-sex marriage.[97][98] Turnbull supported legislation relaxing restrictions on abortion pill RU486 and he also voted for the legalisation of somatic cell nuclear transfer.[99][100][101] He did so despite the vocal public opposition to both proposals by Cardinal George Pell, the then-Archbishop of Sydney.
