Women vs Hizb ut-Tahrir

Islamist fundamentalist group Hizb ut-Tahrir found guilty of gender discrimination

A Radical Muslim group has been found guilty of discriminating against women after making them sit at the back of public meetings.

The landmark finding came after a Sydney woman took on the global political party Hizb ut-Tahrir.

The group will now be forced to mend their ways.

During a public meeting in Western Sydney, men are seated at the front and women directed to sit at the back.

One woman, Alison Bevege, was appalled by that treatment, so she went to the Equal Opportunity Tribunal.

Today, she won.

"If you want to have a public meeting in Australia you cannot have Sharia gender segregation at a public meeting," Ms Bevege said.

In every moslem majority nation, Sharia gender segregation at public meetings is natural and normal !

So when moslems in Australia organise a public meeting, why can't we moslems have gender segregation at our public meetings here, too!!! Angry

When non-moslems, visit, or live in a moslem majority nation, non-moslems must obey [and respect !!!] the laws and customs of that moslem country.

And when moslems come to live in non-moslem majority nations, non-moslems must respect the laws and customs of the moslems.
.......because it would be culturally 'discriminatory' against moslems and their religion, not to do so.

Women should just ignore the ban and start sitting up the front with the men. What are they going to do - physically carry them to the back? People come with families, families should be together.

It would be another PR nightmare for moderate Islam to sort out. Are the speakers as hardline as Google suggests?
