IPSOS Poll : 50/50 TPP
Apr 17th, 2016 at 8:18pm

In the Ipsos poll, the Coalition’s primary vote is down three points since March to 42%, Labor is up two points to 33%, while the Greens, on 14% are unchanged. The poll of 1402 was taken Thursday to Saturday.

The Coalition and Labor are 50-50% on the two-party vote, a fall for the government of three points since March and a 3.5% swing against it since the 2013 election.

Time the Libs reinstated Abbott as leader.

Now what really counts here?

I think the people will look at Shorten and his questionable past, together with his shambling team of union surrogates Vs Turnbull, a self made success story and his team of can do professionals like Morrison, the Boat Stopper.

what amuses me is how the rusted on fall over about Polls.. after what they did to the labor party during the krudd/gillard/krudd years you would think they would give them a wide berth... instead here they are chortle chortle....shows how easy they are to buy... doesnt it?

I mean who knows  if there is such a thing as a poll
it is probably like those dear dorothy dix columns ....all in someones imagination...

I noticed they have an Animal Psychic  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes..in one of the magazines.....

thats right he talks to dead animals and tell their devoted ex owner how happy they are in that animal shelter in the sky...

it must be all lefties that send in pics and wait for answers... Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin they believe anything.

as long as its in  their favour of course.

The people already know all of this. So why are the polls so lacklustre for the Coalition? Because Turnbull is proving to be a do-nothing dud and the Government is rubbish.

While this is bad Newspoll is even worse. For th second month in a row Labor are ahead in Newspoll 51/49.
Now our resident conga line of conservative suckholes will no doubt screech first term governments do not lose elections. While that is mostly true and has not happened for around eighty years this is not a normal first term government. With a first term PM knifed in the back and his replacement proving to be a do nothing disappointment this is a whole new ballgame. Add to all this a huge rift in the government between moderates and extreme rightards intent on destroying each other and this mob are making Rudd look sane.

Sure is a train wreck of a government , 1930 i believe was the last one term federal government , wouldn't that look good on the Lib mantle piece , a fed loss to sit side by side with two state losses, after one term  Smiley

First-term governments do lose elections if they are bad governments. Queensland and Victoria have both tossed out first-term governments in the past three years. This Federal government may well find itself proving the adage that bad news comes in threes.

with the lib govt. determined to protect it's donors by refusing a federal ICAC, I suspect the numbers are about to get worse for the libs. They can't run a campaign based on corruption whilst being seen to be hiding or protecting their own corruption. The public just aren't that gullible.

The public aren't but their supporters like Cods, Longwanker, Armchair Pollie, etc are. These idiots can never see the lies and deceit by their glorious team.

Sadly they cant see fault in their own team and quickly rush to make excuses even when the shortcomings are brought to their notice.

I am so glad not being a Libturd and having to find BS to justify their actions.

these guys will never change their view ... I believe they all said at some stage in the past that they would never vote for turnbull, and I'll also bet they all do. Elections aren't decided by people like that. Elections are decided by the rational, free thinking voters.

Unless they are playing sematics, i do believe they will never vote for MT or BS, but what is the reality? We have a preferential system... eventually, somewhere on the ballot paper Labor or Liberal gets the preferred vote,  and thus, either MT or BS gets the nod as PM.  So when Cods and others vow to never vote for MT, she must either vote for BS, or vote informal.

It gets very difficult to take these Libturds seriously.  They want us to believe ther indignation and disapproval, but we all know that they wont preference Labor, nor will they vote informal - Libturds are just a pack of lieing hypercites.
