Not specific enough for you FD? You actually have to think about whether objecting to ethnic cleansing may or may not be racist? Interesting.

'Arabia is for arabs' is a pretty basic statement of fact wouldn't you say? A bit like 'England is for the English'. If it wasn't for arabs it wouldn't be called arabia. If non-arabs took up a piece of land it would be identified as an area outside the arab world - like err.. say Israel.

As I said, object a way. If you want me to comment on the racial content of a specific objection, I need to read it first. The fact that it includes an objection to a historical event does not preclude it from being racist.

So what you were really asking about is "the arab peninsular" not "arabia". Thats quite a difference you know. And sure, maybe the land shouldn't be for them - maybe non-arabs should have the right to attack and unilaterally seize a part of it - I mean we wouldn't want to run the risk of being wacist now would we?

Sure - we'll just disregard the vast bulk of the arab population that isn't in the Arabian peninsular - you know North Africa, the Levantine and Iraq. Of course its not wrong - but it would have been nice for you to clarify that when you said "arabia" you actually meant a part of the world where most actual arabs don't live.

I'm still trying to clarify what Aussie said exactly that was so racist - but you won't answer me. Was it simply the "arabs for arabia" comment? Perhaps its more useful to see the context in which he is saying it, which seems to be the annexation of Palestinian land by the Israelis and the whole ethnic cleansing and refugee thing. I don't think such an objection to such intrusions is racist - you are still unsure for some reason. But if he's talking about promoting arabia as a 'racially' pure area that actively excludes non-arabs, then sure, count me in on the wacist bandwagon.

Aussie said it. He was obviously referring to a geographic location - Arabia is for Arabs.
