The bible refers to it as the Holy Catholic Church later on and also The Way not the Roman catholic Church. IE. Roman Popeville.

there is no evidence of the catholic church for at least 100 years after Jesus died, whilst the first scriptures were written about 80 years after the death of Jesus.... you ever played Chinese whispers? Cheesy

I have faith in God and Jesus Christ, not an organization nor brand. Jesus clearly said test them with the Word of God being the teachings of Christ and also you will know them by their fruits. If they do not teach the way of Jesus Christ and they do not display the fruits of the Holy Spirit as outlined by the bible they are liars and hypocrites.

Christians Jews and Muslims all have the same God.

Same book different traditions, ok the Muslims also have the Koran but they believe in the old testament too, that is where their roots are and Jesus was a prophet to them.
