And if the Immaculate Conception is to be believed, JC was a woman ... or else where did the 'Y" chromosome come from?

I personally object to God being a bloke.

How can a bloke give birth to anything?

Magic! How can a woman give birth to anything without a man?

Ummm ... parthenogenesis.

You can do that?

edit: Note I said woman.

No, no. He's omniscient... every single child that dies, does so directly because he willed it. They're the rules.

Actually that's not the rules at all.

What are the rules then?

Didn't he create the universe, and everything in it?
Isn't he omniscient?

He knows all. He created all that can harm us. He has the power to stop anything.

Surely he (being omniscient) knew the horrible consequences of his creative urge?

My point, obviously, was that even believers get a life full of pain and suffering. Perhaps you are isolated from it, in your cosy, secular western city apartment?

The true believers, in their third world shitholes may be able to tell you about real suffering?

He's just testing them, because you know, he already knows their hearts but a bit of vivisection is good for the soul. There are lots of Lots. Nothing like a bit of suffering to show how much god loves you.

Or how much you need God and aren't such a big shot after all.

I'm not claiming to be a big shot. Or are you saying anyone that doesn't fall into line behind what you believe to be true is a big shot? What does it make you that we should follow what you believe?

Lol okay your not trying to be a big shot after all Roll Eyes .
Well people full of themselves sometimes need to be pulled down a peg or two to realize they are being twats. Much like people running around putting shyte on God for no reason or a silly one where God is not acting like their candy man and they can't take responsibility for their own holes they dig that effects everyone else. Much easier to blame God.

You said :

"What does it make you that we should follow what you believe?"

I never said follow what I believe I said follow the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ. I still remain a sinner just like you. Just one trying to live more like Jesus every day. Also a person that has eternal life because I believe in His free gift of Salvation..As opposed to rejecting that and choosing eternal damnation.

IT's technically possible. Rather common in the animal world. I'm sure the Goddess could pull it off.

Our father who art in heaven hallowed be thy name, your will be done on Earth as it is in heaven. Sounds like heaven is not a place I want to go to, if that's the case.

Then simply reject the Gospel Message. It's your free will to do so. Just like eternal life is also a free choice.

And all those kids with terminal illnesses. Just being called up to be angels i suppose?

What else could it be?

God is sleeping off a almighty hangover that day?

No, no. He's omniscient... every single child that dies, does so directly because he willed it. They're the rules.

Maybe there has to be equal amounts of good and evil, they must remain in balance.  Or maybe the ways of sky daddy's are mysterious and beyond our ken.

Either way I don't think forum theologians are going to prove the non existance of God based on bad stuff happens to good people.

Perhaps you are the one in need of pulling down. Perhaps the twat is you. Getting upset at anonymous people on the internet for not believing in your god or any god is a bit rich. Who says there is a god? You?

Yes you told us that if we don't follow what you believe we are going to hell. I'm not a sinner, thanks. God is a sinner. He's the one tempted bt Satan and gives in to his requests, see Lot.

Well, I'm not blaming god for the woes of this world, or in my own life... because he's your (inconsistent) fantasy, not mine.

Probably not but perhaps we can question whether we should worship it if it exists.

You seem to be avoiding the point (seeing as you finally admitted to understanding it).

Not at all you clarified the point, now in this post you have clarified again that you blame God for how the world works now and nature. Lets see now.

boxy wrote on Apr 30th, 2016 at 11:57pm:
God created the universe, and us, and is putting us through these torments, deliberately (given that he has to power to control all).

Who said He is putting you through these torments at all. Mankind sinned and bought sin in to the world not God. Because of the the earth and universe groan for his return the bible says this. now its Gods fault is it ?

boxy wrote on Apr 30th, 2016 at 11:57pm:
Quite the sadist. Hardly worthy of worship, unless you're a masochist.

I agree mankind is Quiet the Sadist. Hardly worthy of worship, unless you're a masochist.

In that case you would turn to God for help and comfort until he returns to put an end to mankind's conscious decision to bring sin into the world through disobedience.

If God can create the world it doesn't take a genius to work out he can create a child.
