Summary execution is the wrong expression.

The correct expression is extrajudicial killings because they are performed outside the law.

Quote:
extrajudicial (ˌɛkstrədʒuːˈdɪʃəl)
adj
1. (Law) outside the ordinary course of legal proceedings: extrajudicial evidence.
2. (Law) beyond the jurisdiction or authority of the court: an extrajudicial opinion.
ˌextrajuˈdicially adv

At long last a lefty who understand the process of killing enemy combatants in war.

There is no judge, the are no courts, there are rule of engagement, there is a target and an assigned weapons platform. Wam  bam you're dead

Let numpty know will ya.

Bigol64's son is a jahadi?

Bigol64 needs an interpreter to communicate with its son?

And Sir Booby is a homosexual, would-be terrorist.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Nobody is defending him.

People are defending the rule of law.

You're condoning summary executions, Booby.

That makes you no better than a terrorist.

There is no rule of law in a war zone Greg. You are supposed to kill people without trial. That's what a war is.

10 pages in and you are still stuck on this point.

So, you're happy for the enemy in this "war" of yours to do the same thing?

Yes, FD?

Did I say I was happy about war Greg?

I was just trying to get through to you that you do not hold a trial before killing someone in a war.

Has it sunk in yet?

True.  Do you have a Meeting of the War Ethics Committee (whatever that is) before letting the bombs go off in Paris?  Or is it open slather ~ both sides?

What "war" are you talking about, FD?

This assassination - what "war" was it part of?

And, that's exactly what it's being called: an assassination.

Over to you, FD.
