One of a conman's tricks is to make the mark believe that trumpeting (no pun intended) the answers the mark wants to hear means the conman has asked the right questions.

Anyone can spruik the populist 'answers' - "Pay less taxes"... "generate more jobs" &etc...

The conman does not have a methodology or a science behind the snake oil that 'cures what ails you' and, of course, the mark knows he doesn't (but doesn't want to be disabused of the illusion) and doesn't ask him.

The US has more agricultural subsidies than any other country in the world. US subsidies and US corn dumping has nearly put Mexican corn farmers out of business. Here's what Mr Trump thinks:
