Mitch Fifield told of NBN leaks months ago

Communications Minister Mitch Fifield was told months ago of “intolerable” leaks from the company building the National Broadband Network, making it clear to one of Malcolm Turnbull’s ministers that a police investigation into the matter was on the agenda.

Just heard that on Sunrise.

NBN isn't, and the Turnbull mob used it to manipulate the police acting now.

Shameful of Turnbull.
As bad as both olds are, I hope the coalition crash and burn even harder and faster.

Mr Hammer wrote on May 20th, 2016 at 7:31pm:
The AFP said it executed search warrants in East Melbourne and Brunswick as part of a search for the source of a number of internal NBN documents that have been released by Labor.

Labor has seized on the contents of a number of leaked documents to argue that the National Broadband Network rollout has been derailed by the government’s shift to a ‘multi-technology mix’ model for the NBN.

Conroy, communications minister in the former Labor government, has used the contents to probe NBN executives at meetings of the Senate’s NBN inquiry and in Senate Estimates hearings. The documents have been used by Labor’s broadband spokesperson, Jason Clare, to attack the MTM rollout.

Conroy uses stolen info.

SACKED!!

And that sacking won't happen overnight but it will happen  Grin

well they got Brough didnt they???......didnt he receive stolen info....

This is so on the nose its not funny!

So the police have obviously coordinated with NBN Co the raid details so the NBN man would be available.

Only a dummy would imagine NBN Co CEO/Manager would not have advised his boss (The Minister whoever that is)

Lets get the NBN Co CEO/Manager/Special constable before the Senate!

I think the real black person in the woodpile on this is that it is inconceivable that NBN Co would not have advised their bosses (The Government) of the pending raid, as it was coordinated between them and the police because their staff member was to attend the raids..

The one rule of any senior manager is to keep your bosses informed of any events likely to bring bad press.

IT STINKS TO HIGH HEAVEN !

Bring as many NBN people as is needed before the Senate under oath and see what eventuates

Yeah right. The coalition are such angels aye.
Willing to manipulate the police for political advantage.

Shameful of the coalition. Anyone who respects the police should now put the coalition last on the 2nd July.

This was designed to make Labor look bad but it has backfired in grand fashion.

The fact that an NBN Official was there for the raid, totally contrary to AFP Regulations and further that he photographed documents then shared them with colleagues beggars belief. That made the raid Unlawful. Evidence gained in the raid could well be excluded in Court because once they let the 'cowboy' in on the raid, it is very, very highly likely that it contravened the terms of the search warrant.

This is incredulous.

Andrew Colvin, AFP Commissioner needs to tender his resignation.
