The opening question was a bewdy. They don't say what they think because the schmedia will pounce all over them if they do. Politics has been reduced to robotics. The problem is not that Turdfull/Shorten is unwilling to say what he/they really think.

Back in the day, Menzies could and there was no hovering schmedia with capacity to instantly make whatever he said the overnight story.

The differences within the factions of Liberal and Labor are less than the differences between Liberal Labor.

Since the differences are only window dressing, no wonder Labor or Liberal don't like discussion of a coalition between the two old parties. Yet in a hung parliament result, their large financial donators may demand their puppets to work together.
