You know, the ones who have committed no crimes?
How do you know that they have committed no crimes?, they could be a mass murderer for all you or the rest of us know, there is simply no way to tell but its cute that you want to give them the benefit of the doubt and use our society as guinea pigs that will test your theory out.
I trust our elected representatives and their agents to ensure that those who migrate to Australia have committed no (obvious) crimes and are peaceful and harmless individuals for the most part. Considering the history Australia and it's past acceptance of criminal and religious groups unpopular in their homelands, I believe we've done a damned fine job. Muslims for the most part are fleeing radicalism and extremism in their homelands. They aren't interested in bringing it with them.
Oh come now, Brian. 1/1/1915 in Broken Hill doesn't ring any bells?
That would have been the first massacre of civilians by Islam in this country, wouldn't it? Afghans then, too.
And despite the increasing incidences of inflammatory rhetoric and violent, criminal activities by the adherents to this creed, we continue to import them.
Santayana wrote in 1905: “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”
If we look at history, and the modern day world, we in Australia would be well advised to halt the immigration of Islam, no matter where it comes from.
