Weeks before the mass shooting that took 50 lives at an Orlando gay nightclub by a Muslim gunman, a visiting imam at an Orlando-area mosque said all homosexuals must die.

Sheikh Farrokh Sekaleshfar delivered a rant directed against women and sexual minorities at the Sanford, Florida Husseini Islamic Center in April.

Imam speaking in Orlando said gays should be killed ‘out of compassion’

“Death is the sentence,” Sheikh Farrokh Sekaleshfar said at a speech at the Husseini Islamic Center in Orlando in 2013. “We know. There’s nothing to be embarrassed about this. Death is the sentence.”

“We have to have that compassion for people,” he continued.

“With homosexuals, it’s the same. Out of compassion, let’s get rid of them now.”

Probably yes.

Religions like Islam and Christianity preach hatred and intolerance to homosexuals.

One doesn't need to be a member of a religion in order to be affected by their teachings.

The vile hatred spewed forward by Christianity and Islam, for example, is widespread. It's not just confined to their places of worship.

I saw a youtube clip from a recording inside a Sydney Mosque where people were talking openly about gay hate, and emphasizing they are NOT radicals, just every day normal muslims...
