Is there a criminal charge for usurping power by illegal means?

Is it treason?

A number of people, including journalists, said on Saturday they had been sent the same text message urging them not to vote for the Coalition, from a recipient that appeared under the name "Medicare".

Bill Shorten must resign.

I seem to recall certain lefties calling for resignations over some letter box "joke" way back in 2010.... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

which under the circumstances wasnt nearly as bad as this gaff.....using a public utility is breaking the law isnt it?...

wow and they call Libs corrupt.. Grin Grin Grin

Labor are dirty players -

they use lies & deceit to win elections.
Now they have used illegal text messages.

Malcolm would never do that -
but to be fair his mate Tony did tell a lot of lies in the previous election.

Now you all know how Shifty Shorty got where he is, a shifty brown nosing union puppet promoted to beyond his ability.

You know, just like Juliar Gillard was.

Why would Shorten be charged?  If there is any Labor connection, you can guarantee his hands are clean.... as clean as Weasel Johnny Howard's were when Big Tony put a contract out on Pauline Hanson some years back..... the deniability may be implausible, but that is precisely why it's called 'plausible deniability'.....

Yes - my thread was a little dishonest -

I know -

politicians always get away with criminal activity.

Latest on Q&A -

the police are definitely investigating those messages.

Maybe - someone will have to pay with jail time?

What was the text message, Bobby?

The message, sent to Queensland voters on Saturday, declared

time was running out to "save" the health insurer.

"Turnbull's plans to privatise Medicare will take us down the road of no return,"
it read.

The message sender showed up in phones as "Medicare".
