The first time I even heard about the medicare scare campaign was after the election.

Where was Malcolm explaining what he was going to do with his new computer system & how it would benefit all of us?

There was nothing that I heard - he didn't communicate & Labor pounced
with a fake mediscare - based on ignorance - campaign that worked
& cost Liberals 20 seats.

Malcolm was caught with his pants down in a girls school.

He's gotta do better.

the fake message:

...

Is it true that millions of these were sent out?
That would have taken a lot of technical help
& money.

That's the message I got.

In fact, we all got them here.

We've got 4 mobiles connected to the same Telstra a/c.

I would love to know :

1. How did Labor get access to our mobile numbers?

2. How/why were some mobile numbers selected and not others?

I understand that Labor - Qld came out (eventually) and stated they were responsible for this revolting fraud.

3. Why would a state based Labor organization send these texts AUSTRALIA WIDE?  Huh Undecided Shocked

Hi Lisa,
Labor are dirty players.

However they did also take advantage of Malcolm's poor ability to communicate his ideas.

Labor has a false argument that if you try to do
anything to Medicare it must be bad.

What about if you streamline the repayment services so that more people
get their money back?
That's the sort of message that Malcolm should have been explaining.

No, it wouldn't.

I've already explained this to you, Booby.

Bulk SMS services are extremely economical, and very simple to operate.

The text was fraudulently sent out to disseminate misinformation and to confuse people ACROSS AUSTRALIA.

ACROSS THE ENTIRE NATION.

BY A STATE BASED LABOR ORGANIZATION.

Revolting!

My (moderate Left) husband voted Liberal for the 1st time ever in his life. And that was in protest.

Exactly.

She heard our dismal failure of a a PM say it so now she thinks it's true, despite there being absolutely nothing fraudulent about it.

People in this country can so be gullible at times.
