You have missed my point entirely.

Further, this is not my Thread, but it is clear that there are people here who are actively attempting to poach Members with the intent that they leave here and post elsewhere. No problem if that is done in open, but....clearly this little campaign is being conducted behind closed doors.....and Bogarde73 has exposed it.

Cheers for identifying the forum Bogarde. Now all the trolls, who decent posters are trying to free themselves from due to the non-existent moderation here, are promising to follow. We mistakenly considered you a 'decent poster'. Our mistake.

However, fortune runs in tides. We boiled down our choices to three boards. As second pick, we chose a Canadian board, because our first pick board was massive and we felt we could lose each other. Guess what? We're now going to the first pick board. Which is very well moderated and I wanted anyway.

From Friday, Herbert and I will be posting there and ceasing to post here. We will be passing on the link to the board to those who have shown genuine interest.

It's a great board. Even if the trolls and stalkers here find it, I doubt they will last too long.

Well, Nicole Page 2016 started all this with her post of a few days ago heralding a great big exodus from OzPol, and nothing happened that I knew of until Bograde73 started this thread. I did a google on 'Canadian political forums,' and that one linked came up. Checked latest registrants and bingo...there was Nicole Page and Her-bert.

I'm sure that was sheer coincidence, of course. Seems to me that someone PM'd Bogarde73 and asked that he also register there with a view to participating and his reaction was terrific. "Stuff you and I'll say so in public." Good on him. A rightie with some honour!

Nah. For me, the fun was in catching the quislings. If they want to go, I don't really care, but I would miss Herbert. He'd equally miss us, but if he goes to a new place, at least he gets to re-run his old lines which are well worn over the years. He can even get away promoting himself as being once a 19 year old Senior Officer of the London Metropolitan Police. A whole new audience to mesmerise with his Walter Mitty magic. I'd be sad to see him go. He's part of the furniture.
