.........Waleed, what a bufoon. Sonia is scared of MUSLIM terroirists.
Muslims become terrorsist because of their ISLAMIC beliefs.

Remove Islam's incitement to violent terrorims - and violent terrorism drops by 95%.

Waleed, focus  - it's Islam. Yes, it means you can't blameshift but there is  o more credibility left in Muslim blame shifting.

Muslim terrorism is a Muslim problem. You are a Muslim, you fix it or at least address it. It is nobody else's fault that Muslims are terrorists. It's your doing, as Koran believing Muslims. You created Islamic terrorism, you take responsibility for it.

Be reasonable. Its not Waleed's fault that her statement was full of factual errors, and you can't expect a prominent and proud muslim to start accepting the inflamatory "ban muslims" arguments. The point Waleed was trying to get across here is that its no longer about trying to get the other side to agree with the other's side's arguments - we're way past that. Its now about trying to end this destructive cycle of one-upmanship - the endless point scoring, mocking, sneering and abusing each other that gets us absolutely nowhere. I guess its a kind of "agree to disagree" situation, but at the same time reaching out to meet each other in the middle. It will take a huge effort for people to actually give up trying to "win" the argument and start forgiving and accommodating, but thats what is needed.

And I think the key to all this is to accept the fact that whatever view we have on this topic, we are (mostly) all decent human beings whose hearts are in the right place. We all want whats best for humanity, we just have different ways of approaching that goal.

Frank give him a break - he's reaching out to Sonia and you.

He is not reaching out to anyone except for his loyal fans who will get on their knees and worship him for his wonderful insight. Those who he is supposedly reaching out to will see him as nothing but patronising snob.

His comments are nothing but a long drawn-out way of saying 'We should pity the fool'. He says he could "sit here and pull apart Sonia Kruger’s statement" as if nothing she said has any value. The genius pretends to have everything all figured out and he just has to explain it A-B-C like to the poor scared fool. Look at this shlt: "The truth is, what motivates them, is fear. And fear is one thing we all share." No, it's not fear that motivates people criticising Islam. It's a combination of knowledge, common sense, and a pair of fuking eyes to see what's happening in other places around the world and what's already starting to happen here.

The fuking hide of this clown to always assume that his worldview is the correct one and that everyone with a different view is looking through a pair of fearful, bigoted, uneducated eyes, just waiting for correction by him.

That's a good summation.  Karnal has a similar method here - start with a kernel of bullshit (in this case, that he knows the singular motivation of every last one of his opponents) then wrap it in so much waffle, that few can be bothered filtering the rubbish out and addressing the core.

I would not trust a leftwad to summarise the argument of a rightie, because:

Quote:
Jonathan Haidt and colleagues propose that human beings have six different areas of moral concern: care, fairness, liberty, loyalty, authority, and purity. They argue that individuals and cultures differ in how they define and value these six areas, which they call “Foundations.” For instance, secular Westerners are unusual in giving very heavy weight to the first three. Within the USA, conservatives care about all six and realize that liberals are only concerned about the first three; but liberals fail to grasp conservatives’ concerns for loyalty, authority, and purity.  Therefore, conservatives can predict liberals’ answers to specific questions quite accurately, but liberals do not understand conservatives–with consequences for elections and public debates.

No doubt she could buy and sell you with the loose change she carries round in her purse.

I'd almost guarantee she couldn't.

Common misconception: "people on TV are rich".

Very often it's quite the opposite.

In their imbecelity muslims believe there will be peace when the entire world is converted to islam.

They are too stupid to ask themselves, why aren't the countries which are ruled by islam the most peaceful places on earth?

Why are muslims the most evil violent people on this earth today?

Thankfully the world is slowly turning on them, right here right now we are witnessing it.

I saw a Lebanese (athiest) client today and even she agrees with Sonia.

There was a civil war between Lebanese muslims and everyone else from Lebanon, the older generation of non muslim Lebanese hate Islam.

Actually another of my clients is a Christian leb born here. His eyes glow with hatred when he talks about what happened to Lebanon.

I have a Maronite Christian lebanese friend Habib who hates muslims and asks me WTF are we doing in letting them come here to bludge off Centrelink.

The hatred is almost as bad as the sunni hatred of shias.  Wink

Just watch this.  It's the best thing you'll see all week

Thanks for that , interesting video .
