Why don't we hear from Clinton supporters?
Jul 29th, 2016 at 8:13am

It occurs to me that there are no threads here, not one, that set out to champion Hillary Clinton.
There is one that wants to tell us how great Obama has been, although I saw a telling comment this morning - "If only Obama could govern as well as he speaks". Which is the sad truth about him, "all mouth and no trousers".

But there haven't been pages of comments about what Hillary said or what Hillary is going to do, except some on the negative. Why is this?

I can only surmise that it's because people prefer to dwell on hate.
There has been no shortage of comment from Trump haters about Trump but previous little from Hillary admirers about Hillary.
Maybe there's nothing to admire about her. I may think that but I couldn't possibly say so.

Not that this is something confined to US politics. People seem consumed with hate about so many things - Brexit, Turnbull, Abbott, on & on it goes.

If Clinton is a shining light why are there not people here running threads about the great promise she will bring?
I find promise in Trump and I say so. Not necessarily in Trump the.person but in the opposition to the progressive route. Why is this not happening on the Clinton side?

Is there nothing positive to write about? Or is being a hater just more fun?

Know the enemies of a civil society by their public behaviour, by their fraudulent claim to be liberal-progressive, by their propensity to lie and, above all, by their attachment to authoritarianism.

I don't think there are many Clinton supporters in here.

The only reason I'm happy to see her win in November, is because her opponent is a socopathic, ignorant liar (accused of gang raping a child) who wouldn't know his arse from his elbow.

That doesn't mean I admire Hillary, though.

This is counter intuitive Greggy, a kind of thought process I've not seen you participate in, but try get your binary head around this.

All Hillary will do is keep the status quo. Trump is the ultimate end product of everything that's wrong with the USA. I reckon it would be better for him to be President for 4 years and let the pendulum finish it's swing and maybe Americans will start to crave better politicians.

You don't hear from Clinton supporters because there aren't any.  Well, outside her base of old, single, bitter women, hence the support from gweg.

I'm not a Clinton supporter.

I've said so on numerous occasions.

I actually agree with you: there aren't any supporters in here.

I disagree with you: Trump is dangerous.

Not that it matters anyway, because he won't win in November.

Save this post, and see how right I am.

Hillary will win (more comfortably than most expect).

Trump will stomp his feet, say it was rigged, and threaten to call a new election (because he's a dill) and even threaten legal action.

Despite that, I'm no fan of Hillary's.

They certainly are mine, and I'll repeat them: I'm happy to see her win in November.

I'm not a supporter, though.

You do know that Hilary will probably be more hawkish than Trump?

He knows, but he doesn't care, because he is literally terrified of the masculine virtues that Trump represents.

He hates to see any attempt at growth, progress or improvement because it reminds him how much he has wasted by succumbing to his crippling fear of failure.

Also, the decay and destruction that Clinton represents plays right into gwegs ideology - nihilism.

There's a good chance, yes.

Still a better alternative than Trump, though.

At least Hillary will have some idea of what she's doing.

Trump would struggle to find the door to the oval office.

boges is it more and more about the PERSON rather than the PARTY..and its policies????>.....

seems that way these days....we need to get back to what the Party stands for thereby stands the leader..

we have seen the divide in the Republican camp... they do not all endorse Thump..

I dont know about you but to me division is not a good or healthy thing...
