Anyone can claim asylum yes?
Actually NO

Actually, it's "YES".

Anybody, at any time, can claim asylum.

However, they need to convince the authorities that they are a refugee.

You, like many others in here, don't understand the difference between a refugee and an asylum seeker.

It's perfectly legal to claim asylum.

You have just made a circular argument.

Anybody, at any time, can claim asylum.

However, they need to convince the authorities that they are a refugee.

and if they are not a refugee asylum is not applicable QED you are attempting to enter Australia ILLEGALLY.

There is also a high incidence of these so called refugees heading back home once they get accepted here to bring over more and more of their extended family, more and more deadbeats, more and more dole recipients, more and more child brides to be impregnated and then able to claim more and more money from US the taxpayers.

Look, I don't have a problem with genuine refugees and I'm all for new immigrants who are willing to work, contribute and assimilate, but the ones at Nauru are not these things.
Just look at how they go on in the refugee center, they are disgusting, filthy, parasites.
They treat people looking after them with contempt and even abuse them verbally and physically.
They will not clean up after themselves and treat the women with contempt and even beat them.
And when they don't get what they want they throw tantrums, burn the housing, assault people and even self harm, or farce children to harm themselves to get what they want.

Is this really, truly the type of person you want coming to Australia?

why doesnt greg want to offer them assylum
it is not illegal to be good looking and happy

I think you'd like my idea for a Tinder Style immigration app which lets the general population decide.

The applicants in your photo get a right swipe. (stay)
Left or right swipe this guy?

as i said, the success of a nightclub depends on the guy at the door swiping left or right and creating the "ecosystem of positive emotions".

the vibe in a good nightclub is very uplifting and exciting and energising.

now compare that to the vibe you would feel if you walked into a centrelink office( i have to imagine as ive never visited one but i bet everyone looks sad and beaten down and the energy is low and the place is toxic.).

we need an immigration department with swagger to only allow in those who will "bring the party"

Incorrect.

You are attempting to enter Australia as an asylum seeker.

And, it's not illegal to do that.

What happens after your entry is irrelevant.

Why do you say "so called"?

After the door bitch the next vital component is the bouncer who can eject without appeal anyone whose managed to slip thru and begin to spread a toxic vibe.

Bounce them.

So, if someone walked into your house and said I'm an asylum seeker,
You had no information of this person, who he was, where he was from and if he was a murderer, criminal, or rapist,
You would say.........."welcome"

Then as he raped your wife, destroyed your property, took all your savings and pood everywhere
you would say.........."You poor oppressed person, take more"

Then he denigrated your religion, forced you to accept his religion and brought his 10 year old wife to live with you,
You would say..........."Its just how he has been brought up, its not his fault"

Finally when he blows up your family as a protest about how his RELIGION is being treated somewhere else in the world.
You would say..........."We have to accept that he is treated badly"

If this is how you see it, I feel for you, honestly I do.

Yeah right, I believe that if he came to my front door and tried to get into my house, I would just have to call an ambulance to take what was left of him away.

Altruism is good if those on the receiving end were thankful.
But when they take, take, and take more and more while insulting and threatening you.
Its time to say, Xenophobia may have a place.

I would send him or her to the Immigration Department for processing.

If he or she was then granted refugee status, I'd say "welcome".

If they weren't, I'd say "get out of here".

Where's the problem?

Paki Muz. He burnt his shop down for the insurance money and killed three people, including a baby.

What about if they aren't considered a refugee but their home country (like Iran) won't take them back??
