Trump - A (Psychopathic) House of Cards
Aug 10th, 2016 at 8:38pm

Americans, the 'house of cards' metaphor was used for a reason in the British and US versions of the TV series...

Its the same reason the first little pig had his house of straw blown away with one huff and a puff.

Why should the world be held hostage to an American fiasco, writ large, of life imitating art?

Ha, ha, good spot!

If only the US and the world just needed an edit function to end this (very American) political psychodrama.

So in the red corner we have a psychopath and in the blue corner a pathological liar.

There must be better people. Maybe no better qualified, but that can be overcome by judicious appointments.

Trump's PolitiFact statements scorecard

    True                   9 (4%)
    Mostly True       24 (11%)
    Half True           32 (15%)
    Mostly False       32 (15%)
    False                 79 (37%)
    Pants on Fire     40 (19%)

Nothing surprising there...

No but 20 plus years of public service(no matter the quality iyo) beats 20 years of self service and a litany of bankruptcies
Clarification - that both suck just 1 way less

Marla! My favourite bitch. I love the fact that you're American. I never met any Americans when I was living in the UK, and in all my years in Australia I haven't met a single, solitary American, and yet all my life - even going back to my China years - have been spent watching and listening to American actors and actresses on the screen.

Oh, I tell a lie. I've just remembered.

When I was around 7 years old at school in Hong Kong I was absolutely mezmerized by this beautiful American girl with loooong hair who sat at a desk on the other side of the aisle. I don't know what was going on in my 7-year old mind, but one day she turned to me and said ... "Why are you always staring at me?!" Previous to this she had been totally ignoring me.

I said nothing, but turned a bright red and didn't dare look at her again.

Marla = alarM

Be alarMed whenever Marla arrives to put in her two dimes worth.

Jus' sayin'.  Tongue

Because I don't think Trump is qualified. The same as Hillary, although on paper she may well be.

There was nothing there about Trump not being a psychopath. You obviously failed to understand what I wrote. Again.

The same as Dwight D. Eisenhower .......

same as Zachary Taylor ........

same as Ulysses S. Grant ........

same as Herbert Hoover .........

NO PUBLIC OFFICE WHATSOEVER.....NONE....

Holding another political/public office, as a prerequisite to becoming President of the United States of America, does not, & never did exist.

Article II  Section I of the United States Constitution, the Law of the Land, states the only qualifications that any person need to satisfy in seeking & taking the office of President of the United States of America:

Quote:
"No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States."

Donald Trump meets all the prerequisites......full stop. Wink

Another thing about sociopaths and narcissists - They are instinctive like animals - No capacity for introspection. They seek refuge only in their deluded sense of self-image even when its clear its based on pathologically grandiose delusions...

Take his latest drivel (below) - "I'm a truth teller. All I do is tell the truth"... What does that mean in real terms.. Maybe six year olds might actually think they can get away with trying to convince their peers they never lie... But even by then they're aware that its a scam.

"Even though I'm supposed to be the smart one" - By whose measure? Smarter than whom? Einstein? His kids? The dog next door?

Stay tuned... This man's rhetoric is quickly going to descend further and permanently into an infantile babble as he attempts to protect his (extremely) precarious sense of self - To prevent perceived psychological collapse, in the shadow of which a sociopath / NPD fears he is perpetually living.

Let's not forget, this nutjob lead the Obama birther fiasco.

Quote:
"I'm a truth teller. All I do is tell the truth. And if at the end of 90 days, I've fallen short because I'm somewhat politically correct even though I'm supposed to be the smart one and even though I'm supposed to have a lot of good ideas, it's OK. I go back to a very good way of life."

Donald knows that all publicity is good publicity.
He also knows it is a lot more fun to work in Hollywood, then in the white house.
He is just wrecking the  washington elite (long overdue) and when clinton wins (and then becomes a hopeless president as the whole country has veered off course) he can sit back and laugh his head off and get all the kudos whilst she gets all the angst.
masterful strategy

Are you saying Trump isn't in it to win it?

I find that inconceivable. With his ego, I don't think he's capable of accepting he is going to lose. Especially after spending so much effort painting his opponent as so incompetent and crooked - what does it say about his appeal when he loses to her in a landslide?

Nobody can pick American politics . People who haven't voted for 20 years seem to get up and vote again when they feel like it. There's a real chance the silent disenfranchised white middle class majority are going to rock up and tick Trump. This is a real possibility. The time is right for it. Look at Pauline!! Grin Grin

Sure they will. The problem is they're outnumbered by women and every ethnic group Trump has alienated.

Trump hasn't even tried to bring other groups into the tent, and this, if anything, will prove to be his undoing.

Hilary is back into 1.25.

those are getting down to Black caviar odds, so she will almost certainly win.

she shares a big butt with Black Cav  and they would appear of about equal intelligence

Did you see Trump's economic speech?

Come back and report on Trump's intelligence after watching that.

We most certainly will. And if Trump does get in, we'll see what happens with his impeachment.

And if Hillary gets in we'll see how close America gets in to widespread social unrest. Very close is my prediction.

Strange. I would have thought you'd be happy with the widespread social unrest they have now. Shootings, racist attacks, cop-killings, massive opiate addiction and the highest unemployment in generations. All they're missing is a foreign war.

I think Trump will rectify that, don't you think?

Well I would have thought  you'd want a change of government (Trump) considering the mess you just posted up.

That just about sums it up.

He wins either way, and will no doubt be joining the rest of the world in being an audience to Hillary Clinton turning out to be a disastrous wrecking ball in the Oval Office.

It's going to be 'Theatre' whatever the final result in November.

Marla = alarM

Be alarMed whenever Marla arrives to put in her two dimes worth.

Jus' sayin'.  Tongue

I don't believe a word of that, Herbie

Except the bitch part. That much is true.

So in the red corner we have a psychopath and in the blue corner a pathological liar.

There must be better people. Maybe no better qualified, but that can be overcome by judicious appointments.

How is Trump qualified?

What public office has he run for, and held, before?

Hmmm...I worked for years in the US...long time ago in the 70's for tech companies.  My younger brother married an American woman and happily lived there until his recent death from a heart attack.  Me and my family have been there many times in more recent years for long holidays across the nation.  From what I can see, Trump is exactly what America needs - a sharp deviation from the norm of suck-azz politicians leading the country down the gurglar.  Hell, when he has served his two terms he can come down here....get citizenship - just like a bongo-congo athlete, and be PM....and sort us out.
I look forward to him changing everything, backing down to no one, and letting adversaries know he has Trident subs, ICBM's, and a massive fleet of strategic bombers....waiting for orders to launch....Then watching him tear up junk FTA's and more encompassing trade treaties that have stuffed the US - much like our Labor/Liberal eunuchs do here.  Great times ahead - if Trump wins...more of the same western surrender monkeys if the bubble-head Hillary wins....short as her tenure will be....before she's off to the nursing home.
