theres a very good book called the tribe or something similar about the levels of tribal development.
(6 levels from memory).

the lowest level is where people just sit around all day , complaining and stuck in inertia and self pity and victim identity.  they cant really see a brighter future.
most of the bitter lefties belong to this tribe.
its a step below level 2 which is about gang culture, because at least the gang members identify with the possibility of the gang moving up.

level 6 , the highest level , is composed of confident , self actualised, lifters and contributors who seek out other similar minded individuals to construct an ecosystem of awesomeness. they have little tolerance to the whiners and complainers in level 1. they just dont want them infecting their positive ecosystem.
you can see level 6 at work in silicon valley where companies vibe and share information and people dont want to leave their workplace as it is "the sh*t".

i read that one internet company actually offers you 20 grand to quit, once you've been there 6 months. they dont want people who arent enthuisiastic and positive.

most of the rightards on oz pol are potential level 6 players...they vibe and are happy and confident.

the level 1 complainers and cry babies (smith, pecca, mothra, peel  etc).....to the superior righties , i say, dont let their toxicity affect your "ecosystem of positive emotions ".
keep contributing the positive energy as you have done so far.
i am talking to the likes of herbert and gordon and the mechanic and sprint and other people who contribute most of the "meat" to the forum.
the blowflies attracted to this meat are annoying but they do not define "the superior man"

trust you aqua....meandering on about WHAT  Roll Eyeswe will never know..... byt the time I get to the bottom of your posts I have forgotten the first part...why dont you talk in plain English instead of trying to be a poet which your not...

sorry aqua but its a dead set turn off...

back to the bans.. I would think with new gmods one can expect the odd hiccup...before the ban button come into play I am not suggesting gmods make mistakes........just being brand new we peasants should make allowances.

you are a lazy poster gweg.
you are very reactive.
you are at the "effect" and you react to other people who are at the "cause".
This is very brattish 14 yo girl behaviour.

The thing about laziness is that it infects the brain and becomes an addiction.

Deep down the mediocre people know that a lot of the ideas on "personal development", a lot of the ideas on "gratitude", a lot of the ideas on "not engaging in a cry baby complaining life story" are correct.

But it would require a lot of effort to change themselves.

So their ego (often at a sub conscious level...so i am not blaming you) will not engage with any sort of idea of self improvement that would require some fairly rigorous and at times brutal self reflection.

This is what is known as a "success barrier' or a "limiting belief".  A lazy ego will construct these so that the low consciousness human does not have to go thru the effort required to change.

people like their "comfort zone"
if that comfort zone is a bunch of workers sitting around "hating on successful people and thinking successful people are keeping them down" then it is still just a comfort zone.
it is an addiction to medicority.
You would never be interested in Tony Robins because your ego wont let you. it likes its low vibration, petty BS behaviour. it is addicted to it  Wink

i think reading from good books (and Robbins has written some great books) is a useful addition to thinking for oneself.
In your case it would replace the soundtrack of the mediocre (it is not illegal, it is not illegal ,,,blah blah blah) with the thoughts of the happy successful rich person. Wink

no, trying to self improve is admirable .... regurgitating what someone else tells you as if it were gospel, day in and day out is a concern. That's exactly what cults do. You're supposed to take their advice and sort out the wheat from the chaff.

you on the other hand swallow wheat chaff and all the packaging.

Indeed.

However, "good books" is purely subjective.

I've read two of Robbins', and I wouldn't call them good.

John has asked me over on PA if I could enquire as to why he is banned on OzPol ?

I doubted the Gmods would discuss it with me.

Any ideas?

I couldnt see anything obvious in his recent posts.

Like most banned he wouldnt mind knowing as a matter of courtesy.

Perhaps a Gmod could Pm or email him if possible.

I was banned yesterday.

No explanation.

No reason that I can see.

It's becoming more of a problem.

I'm assuming it's to do with right-wing bias.

Yeah, that's why I get banned all the time.  Smiley Smiley

Banning does NOT require are reason, just an action by the MOD, nothing else.

it is important to study success but it is also important to study failure.
there are plenty of these to study here at oz pol , so it is all useful to gain more "reference experiences"

Tony Robbins came and spoke at our company conference in San Diego.
That is one odd bloke.
