had a recent local government election here in QLD. One candidate had massive billboards, everywhere, and heaps of localised media schmooze.. everywhere you went you saw his face.
Guess what?? He became the NEW Mayor.
Guess what? He had massive funding from Chinese corps.

Guess what? within 2 mths of the election he was in China, on a ????. financial junket. ??

Sadly.. Sad

he had a fall , within a week of being in China, and broke every bone in his foot and ankle. Poor bastard. Grin

He had to cut it short and come home, but still claims he did GOOD BUSINESS for the local Council.!!!!

He got over $100,000 from them. No other local candidate came within 10% of that one source contributions, and none of THOSE were from anywhere else but local business. What does THAT tell you.?
