Turnbull The Terrorist

'Who are you fighting for?' Malcolm Turnbull, Vladimir Putin and the new geopolitical reality

There are no pictures of Vladimir Putin's encounter with Malcolm Turnbull at the G20 in Hangzhou, but his message on the Syrian war could not be clearer.

The Russian strongman listed the litany of Western errors in the Middle East, saying George W Bush should never have unsettled the region by deposing Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.

The United States and Australia were repeating the error in Syria and playing into the hands of radical Islam, he said.

"I'm fighting for the legitimate Government of Syria," Mr Putin added.

"Who are you fighting for?"

It was, Australian sources conceded, a very good question.

The exchange highlights the value of the summit season. Behind the impenetrable bureaucratise of the obligatory communiques, the leaders have very frank conversations where disputes and hopes are boiled down to their essence.

And this does not just happen in the official "sideline" meetings, but in momentary encounters on conference room floors and in corridors.

Rebel-held Aleppo has been pounded by the forces of President Bashar al-Assad's regime, backed by Russian air power. Several cases of chlorine gas bomb attacks also have been reported there.

“It appears that political power and diplomatic clout have been allowed to trump the UN’s duty to expose those responsible for the killing and maiming of more than 1,000 of Yemen’s children.”  Sajjad Mohammad Sajid, Oxfam Director in Yemen, Jun 7, 2016
It is such cases that give the United Nations a bad name.  And if heads and decay say something about the rest of the body, Ban Ki-Moon says all too much in his role as UN Secretary General.  Always inconspicuous, barely visible in the global media, his presence scarcely warrants a footnote. This has been a point of much relief for various powers who have tended to see the UN as a parking space for ceremony and manipulation rather than concrete policy.
A most sinister feature of the latest UN reversal is the role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia behind the move.  Other powers have previously attempted to prejudice the various organs, and functions of the UN, exerting various pressures. In March, Morocco made its position clear when it expelled 84 UN staffers from a UN peacekeeping mission in the Western Sahara region after Ban deemed the disputed territory “occupied”.
The Kingdom is engaged in an enthusiastically bloody campaign in Yemen against the Shia Houthi insurgents, one that can scant be described as compliant with the laws of war.  This was one of the subjects of a 40-page report, written primarily by the UN chief’s special representative for children and armed conflict Leila Zerrougui.
In an expansive document spanning several countries and regions, it was found that the Saudi-led coalition had been implicated in the deaths of some 60 per cent of the 1,953 child deaths and injuries in Yemen last year.[1]  A policy of systematic targeting of hospitals and schools was also noted.  In Aden alone, six facilities were attacked 10 times.

Syria ~ Saudi Arabia

Syria, Turnbull is a terrorist attempting to undermining the government, the other, he's best mates and ignores the mass murder of children.

Why the hypocrisy?

Greens- don't use diversion as a tactic -

it only works with simpletons.

Assad is still using chemical weapons on his own people -
innocent civilians.

It's not diversion.
Why is one country's government ok for Turnbull to terrorise, and another, be best mates with.

Plenty of government attack their citizens. Look how Australia is ethically cleansing the country of Aboriginals.

So why the hypocrisy.
This hypocrisy makes the Turnbull mob terrorists.

i really dont care much about the details.
If Vlad says something, i sit up and pay attention and reframe my thinking.
I am happy to accept him as an alpha male and am happy to follow his leadership without question.
One can then get on with grinding it out , safe in the knowledge that a 'superior man" is steering us in the correct direction.

This is the problem with western leaders, they are soft, and play a "weak sauce' game. thus, one cannot seek confidence in their superior alpha skills of leadership, as one already feels above them in the peck order.

personally, i would rather just be left to grind it out in my day to day journey up the narrow raod to success and have an alpha male leader handle "sh*t".

But only Vlad, Derterte in the phillipines and Corey Bernardi are leaders of exceptional alpha skill who could be trusted to see us true
