Bill Clinton on Monday tried to downplay the dramatic video of a wobbly Hillary Clinton being helped into a van on Sunday, saying that the Democratic nominee has suffered from severe dehydration "on more than one occasion."

“Rarely, on more than one occasion, over the last many, many years, the same sort of thing’s happened to her when she got severely dehydrated, and she’s worked like a demon, as you know, as secretary of state, as a senator, and in the years since,” Clinton told Charlie Rose in an interview set to air on Monday night.

Hillary Clinton and her campaign is on the defensive over her health and their transparency after Clinton quietly ducked out a 9/11 memorial ceremony on Sunday and then appeared to swoon as aides helped her into a waiting van. While the campaign initially said Clinton was just “overheated,” they later revealed she had been diagnosed with pneumonia the prior Friday.

POLITICO reported on Monday that the former secretary of state’s real issue is chronic dehydration and that her reluctance to drink water has become a source of tension with her staff.

Bill Clinton in the interview dismissed the notion that anything more serious is going on.

“She’s doing fine. She was even better last night before she went to sleep,” Clinton said. “She just got dehydrated yesterday.”

The former president also said “she had two-and-a-half hard days before the day when she got dizzy,” and said she’s eager to get back on the campaign trail.

“I’ll be lucky to hold her back another day,” he said.

Unrelated. Thanks to the Nazi's on Wall Street there has been a major slide on the share markets which in turn buggered up the bond markets as yields began to rise and consequently, their price fell. It's what Wall Street deems a "two bear an inverse relationship."

Since late 2014-ish there has been a flood of cheap money overflowing into financial markets. You couple that with lowering of interest rates you reap a massive bubble (of latest estimates) of $13 trillion worth of poo government bonds that can only trade at negative yields. What that means is these bonds prices are so high that any investor wasting their time in purchasing one and holding it to a maturity yield would be at a loss.

Yay for capitalism.

This in turn mean the international market has been turned into a giant Nevada Indian casino where bonds are purchased solely on the basis that price(s) will continue to rise. So much so that only Wall Street speculators will be able to make capital gains (if any). On the other hand, if prices fall (and they will) where the yields begin to increase, more significant losses will incur.


I blame Obama.

There could be something in this Hillary double story.

I'm sure I saw two of them yesterday.

US President Barack Obama has fully endorsed Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s fitness to serve as president, despite concerns over her being diagnosed with pneumonia.

Obama offered his endorsement during a campaign trail in Philadelphia on Tuesday for his first solo rally on behalf of the Democratic nominee.

“You want to debate who’s more fit to be our president? One candidate who’s traveled to more countries than any secretary of state ever has, has more qualifications than pretty much anyone who’s ever run for this job,” Obama said.

“She worked hard, tirelessly flying around the world again and again, I don’t know how many times she lapped the world but she did it a long time,” the president added, stressing Clinton’s stamina to serve in the White House.

Obama also took a swipe at the Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, saying the New York businessman “isn’t fit in any way shape or form to represent this country abroad and be its commander in chief.”

He slammed Trump and his fellow Republicans for depicting a “dark, pessimistic vision” of the US during the campaign rallies.

“They're not offering serious solutions,” Obama noted. “They're just fanning resentment and blame and anger and hate.”

The remarks were made as rumors about the 68-year-old former first lady’s well-being have been haunting her with a video released Sunday showing a seemingly fainting Clinton stumbling on the sidewalk after leaving a 9/11 memorial ceremony.

Upon pneumonia diagnosis, the Democratic nominee’s campaign has announced that after several cancelled fundraising trips and campaign events, Clinton is scheduled to appear at a “black women’s agenda” in a few days.

This is while Trump has repeatedly questioned his rival’s health, saying she is physically unfit to serve as president.
