Trump is clear about what not to compromise. He is an American.

Do you think its just down to being American?

Could you imagine a world where, say, Chinese and/or Russian politicians might be more capable than him in dealing with a character whose as inexperienced and as psychologically flawed (and hopelessly politically inexperienced and incapable) as Trump?

The point, as you know very well, is not to create policies, but to hit all the right notes with the bigots.

No - the point is to represent the popular will rather than be as unmoored from who you represent as the Democrats and the Republicans are now.

This is not the popular will. It's a distraction created by a certain class of elites and spread through their media.

Hysteria over race is an easy fallback option, but it masks the very real issues that have hit the Western world since the GFC, or the "Great Recession" as it's known in the US.

The "Establishment" response to this economic crisis was to bail out the banks rather than people's home loans. As real wages dropped, corporate salaries soared. As corporate taxes dropped, income taxes remained the same. People lost their homes, jobs and credit worthiness while people like Trump paid no tax at all.

What's the response? A refugee "crisis". A Mexican wall. A terror "threat". For some, it works every time. It worked in Nazi Germany, Stalin's Russia, the Deep South, and it seems to work all over the world when times get tough and the pinch is on. There will always be people to exploit fear and race hate, and they will always be used by your "Establishment" to distract and divert.

Always, absolutely, never ever.

You ARE stupid enough to confuse illegal immigration with race.
You are moving into Mothra, gweggowy, Greens_Win territory: being stupid on purpose.

I didn't think you were quite that stupid but there you area - you ARE that stupid.

You cannot think outside your shopworn 1980s cliches - we see that in your endless repetition of all that same-old-same-old tired tropes.

'Karnal, we are not in Kansas any more'.

Stupid.

There are signs that discouraged Trump voters may not vote which would spell disaster for many down-ballot GOP candidates.

Wanna make a little wager on the outcome of the election?

Yeah, why not.

Trump wins, I leave this forum forever.

Hillary wins, you leave this forum forever.

No socks.

Agreed?

I have seen your offer for a while now.  If you can get marla to join you I will take your offer if Hillary wins I leave forever. If Trump wins you get her to sign on with you and both of you leave forever! Two for one, how about it?

At last, someone with a bit of honesty.

There is absolutely no point in Trump supporters taking me up on my bet, as they know full well that they will lose.

It's all over for the bloated orange douche bag accused of raping at least one child, and sexually assaulting countless women.

Absolutely.

I'm no fan of Ms Clinton's.

America has been well and truly duped on this one.

To think that out of 320 million people, these two are the best they could come up with.

...

It's like choosing between being kicked in the balls, and being kicked in the balls twice.

Hillary will win the election - there's nothing surer.

Admittedly, it's not a greatest outcome, however, the alternative would be truly disastrous for all involved.

Trump has always been pro-choice, and now he's pro-life. Pro-drug decriminalization, and now tough on drugs. For the invasion of Iraq, and now against it. For universal health-care, and now against that.

He's used cheap foreign labour to build skyscrapers. He's imported Chinese steel. He's paid big money to Democrat politicians, including "crooked Hillary". Almost every position he takes is the exact opposite of what he once said or did.

That demonstrates a willingness to hang loose and remain flexible rather than be set in concrete like a Jimmy Hoffa.

You mean a Rudd-like clown who would do absolutely anything and say anything to get elected and then do what he wants anyhow? I might disagree with people on the Left, but as long as they actually hold to their convictions I can respect them. Rudd literally polled to find out what he should believe it. Trump is just as bad.

Just wondering if you've ever worked with (or for) state / federal ministers or career politicians ?

I/We've been wondering why you're finding it so difficult to answer the question as to how Hillary will deal with the China Sea expansion problem better than Trump.

Trump comment: "If we have nuclear weapons, why dont we use them?"

Is that not enough to answer how he would deal with it?

That's if his administration would execute the order. On more than one occasion Nixon ordered an extreme order (at least one being a nuclear attack) but his national security advisor / secretary of state (Kissinger) countermanded the order (probably illegally but he did it anyway) because he'd decided that Nixon was not in his right mind.

Given that a former CIA Director (Michael Hayden) has publically suggested that the U.S. military may refuse to follow Trump's orders - an indication of how little faith the military establishment has in Trump's mental health or at least psychological fitness to be President - its likely he will be hamstrung from day one.

Sixty thousand voted today on the first day of early voting in Houston. Most said they spent a little over two hours in line. We voted in league city this morning and our wait was only about fifteen minutes because they were better prepared. After seeing the turnout I am more sure than ever the Polls are bogus!
