You wouldn't read about it ..

I was reading about a death in the US 30 years ago that was judged to be a suicide by the Coroner's Office.

A woman who lived alone was found dead in her home by a neighbour who then called the police.

An extensive investigation was carried out, but it all led to the conclusion that she had committed suicide.

During the time of the investigation they took photos of everything in the house, with all of these ending up in a file as Case Solved. It wasn't even a Cold Case.

But one very junior officer kept thinking that there was an anomaly somewhere, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. It bothered him.

The case was closed, but back he went to the file and looked through all the photos again ... and then it struck him what didn't look right.

From this simple observation a murderer was eventually brought to justice, and the poor woman was no longer filed under 'Suicide'.

In a time of universal deceit — telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

No evidence whatsoever it can be attributed to George Orwell or Eric Arthur Blair (in fact the same guy)

Bojack,

That is the most sense you have made, in a long time, imo.

I was waiting for you to ask.. what took youse so long?

It's actually a true story.

He went through about 200 or more photos the forensic team took inside the house when they arrived shortly after the discovery of the dead woman's body.

He shuffled through them again and again ... and then the penny dropped with a thud.

What he saw gave him goose-bumps.

And ...

someone's at the door. Don't go away, I'll be back in a moment.
