Yes.

That's because most people don't understand what polygamy is.

So now polygamists are just misunderstood? They join a number of fruitcake fringe dwellers.

There you go, Greg, dig yourself in a little deeper.

No, that's not what I said.

I said most retards, like you, don't actually know what polygamy is.

Thanks for confirming it, beyond all doubt.

Absolutely.

Blokes.

Women.

Blokes and women.

Whatever you want.

If people love each other and want to be together, good luck to them.

It's far better than being a hate-filled, bigoted, racist douche-bag like The Mechanic, Herbert, Gordy, Bogie, Frank, et al.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

You can have all the wives you want now, you just can only have one at a time. There is no limit to total times married.

I voted yes, the more making me sammiches, with their little feet so they can stand closer to the kitchen sink, the better... or was that tacos?

Nah I didn't vote. Have as many women/men as you like as long as it doesn't cost the taxpayer.

edit: If it's good enough for the bloke my FiL went to Uni with...

Yes, I know it wasn't "polygamy" but it was in all but name. Polygamy being illegal and all.

The bullsh1# being expounded here is typical of the way forumites don't bother thinking things through. What have we got, a few five word sound bites? Were are all these one woman multiple men marriages practiced? Polygamy is a male trip, and a bad one at that.

It's a hypothetical, Einstein.

Should polygamy be made legal in Australia, so that a woman can marry three husbands if she wishes to do so?

And, regarding it being a bad trip: there are monogamous marriages all over Australia, and the world, in which men are abusing their wives and/or children.

Does this then mean that monogamous marriage is "a bad male trip"?

Perhaps all marriage should be banned.
