When a person self-describes, and announces;
"I'm a moslem."

....i am willing to believe that he/she is, a moslem.

But when a person self-describes, and announces, "I'm a moslem."
   .....to a person who is a political leftist, the political leftist seems to have a conversation with his/her own self, which says;
"Oh, you are one of those misunderstood, peace-loving persons, who is always pursued by violence and conflict and persecution, wherever you go in the world, and who is maligned and persecuted by ISLAM-O-PHOBES."

QUESTION;

What is the most accurate and truthful definition [and description!] of what a moslem is ?

ANSWER;    [...to my mind]

A moslem is a follower of ISLAM.    < -------- dictionary definition.

QUESTION;

Why would a person self-describe as being a moslem,       unless that person understood what ISLAM is [and was willing to associate themselves,    personally,    with ISLAM],       and was willing to associate themselves,    personally,    with what the doctrines and tenets of mainstream ISLAM teach and promote in the world ?

PROPOSITION;

[logically....]
Only a person that understood what ISLAM is [and who is willing to associate themselves,    personally,    with what ISLAM is],          and who was willing to associate themselves,    personally,    with what the doctrines and tenets of mainstream ISLAM teach and promote in the world,    would -- reasonably -- self-describe as being a moslem and would insist that they -- were -- a moslem.

Else, what would be the point of personally identifying with, and in insisting that they were,       a moslem ?

THE PRINCIPLE 'REASON FOR BEING' FOR A MOSLEM, ACCORDING TO ALLAH......

.....IS TO 'DEFEND' ISLAM, BY MURDERING DISBELIEVERS WHO OFFEND 'MY' RELIGION.

What about the innocent moslems ?

IMO, [logically] there are no innocent moslems [among persons who have come to the age of consent], and yet still declare themselves to be moslems.
