1981 & 2005 - Two Interesting Years

Interesting Year 1981
1. Prince Charles got married.
2. Liverpool crowned soccer Champions of Europe .
3. Australia lost the Ashes.
4. The Pope died.

Interesting Year 2005
1. Prince Charles got married.
2. Liverpool crowned soccer Champions of Europe .
3. Australia lost the Ashes.
4. The Pope died.

Lesson to be learned:
The next time Charles gets married, someone should warn the Pope.

So you have found 4 events that (sort of) repeated out of the countless trillions of events that didn't repeat in those 2 years.

The human brain is hard wired to look for patterns. We often see patterns that aren't there. That's why so many people believe in conspiracy theories, astrology, karma, religion and other superstitions.

Ethnic conflict occurs as far back as history records, exists now, and will continue to exist. Anywhere where two or more groups have largely different values and morals will bring conflict.
