Nothing wrong with that, of course, but she could have aimed a little higher. It's something like hitching up with a garbo, or a common factory worker, or a taxi driver.

Bindi is intelligent, but she let her romantic delusions steal her heart away to committing to a loser who has had ample time to study for qualifications or do an apprenticeship, but instead does kid's stuff on the waterways.

I once knew a beautiful doctor's daughter who went off to live in Paris for a couple of years, and came back looking like a street prostitute with all her make-up, and with a small baby from a one-night stand (or whatever it was).

It was a tragic transformation that shocked me to the core, and left me feeling very sorry for her for having allowed herself to be used so cynically and cheaply. In that whole district where I lived in Devon, she was by far the most beautiful girl around.
