Why did the Turks organise the Armenian Genocide, Moses?   I was just wondering if you'd ever found out the reasons why.   Was it because they weren't Muslim or was it because they were perceived to be helping the Russians?    Roll Eyes

Someone said we could not judge a person's Aboriginality on their skin colour.  Why isn't that applied in the matter of Pascoe?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Brian is that like when Nazis and Muslims invent anti-Jew conspiracies to promote their cause?

No idea.  I'm not an expert on the Nazis.  Are you?    Roll Eyes

Because words have meaning Gandalf. If you refer to a different method of categorisation, you are not refering to a race.

Clearly words don't have meaning FD, since 'sand negro' is not a race, yet its still racist. And there is no reason to assume the term is 'referring to a race' whenever someone uses it - any more than 'inbred retarded muslim' is. Basically you are saying that you can make up any  derogatory 'racey' sounding name, insist that it is referring to a race, and ta-da, its a racist term. And then you get to pick and choose which bigoted broad-brushing of an entire group is racist, and which is not - even though its all the same type of bigotry. Thus you can cunningly point out how moses' outrageously bigoted slur about 100% of muslim males is above anything else, most importantly, "not racist" - and de-facto not as bad as "blatant racism" - aka muslims and their apologists saying mean things about jews.

freediver wrote on Jan 4th, 2017 at 4:41pm:
My definition of a sand negro necessarily involves someone whose parents are a sand negro. Your definition of a Muslim does not involve someone whose parents are a Muslim.

LOL nice try... but the racist part about inbred-retarded muslims is not 'muslim', its 'inbred-retarded'. Just like the racism in "all muslims are sand-negroes" is sand-negroes, not muslims. And lo and behold, a retarded inbred can only be a retarded inbred if their parents are also retarded inbred. You know, its a genetic thing, just like your sand-niggery affliction.

I was trying to make sense of your statement, quoted above that comment. Hence the paraphrasing.

Well you failed. I literally said the exact opposite of what you 'paraphrased'. Read it again please.

freediver wrote on Jan 4th, 2017 at 4:41pm:
Sure.

I see. Would you describe it as "blatant racism"? Are you going to pursue Frank for months on end, start 20 threads in a row mocking him and pin him up in the hall of shame - aka the wiki?

Why would I need to quote you, FD? You know what you think. You disagreed with the invasion of Iraq then - and you agree with it now: the reversal of most people's opinion, but there you have it.

I still don't think we should have invaded Iraq.

Strange. I'm sure you defended the invasion of Iraq quite recently.

No worries. If this isn't true, I apologize for putting words in your mouth, FD.

By "defend" I think you mean he spinelessly apologised for it, dismissing any sinister intentions and insisting it was all about an altruistic attempt to bring freedom and democracy.

Basically the same old 'white man's burden' crap.

Thanks Gandalf. That pretty much sums up your argument.

Quote:

It only has any meaning at all if the meaning is shared Gandalf.

People do it all the time Gandalf. Would you argue that sand negro is not racist because I just made it up?

Quote:

Different types Gandalf. I have provided a clear distinction, whereas yours is all over the place.

No Gandalf. I point out that it is not racist. This is not cunning at all. It falls into the bleeding obvious category.

Quote:

Like I keep telling you, inbred is not a race. Retarded is not a race. Muslim is not a race. Stringing them together in ever more convoluted ways does not make it racist.

Quote:
And lo and behold, a retarded inbred can only be a retarded inbred if their parents are also retarded inbred.

This is neither true, nor is it anything that anyone here has claimed. It is your invention, in a desperate effort to racialise Moses's criticism of Islam.

Or, you could explain what makes one version racist and the other not racist, as I have done for you. Boil it down please, without all the waffle and hyperbole.

This is true, G, but why would FD spinelessly defend something he completely disagrees with?

FD also refused to say whether he currently supports the Iraqi invasion, after being asked a number of times. In fact, he distinguished his views today from what he thought then. FD was very careful to say that his stance against the war was past, not current - the folly of youth if you will.

We all asked. FD refused to say.

So I'm curious. Why is FD presenting an antithetical view here? Do you think, and I'm quoting, he "changed his mind"? Do you think the post-2007 FD is reverting?

So far, FD has refused to say.

Apart from the enigmatic "quote me", of course.

This is a relief. The post-2007 FD is back.

I thought we were experiencing a transit of Venus or a return of Halley's Comet.

This is where you should be correcting me, FD.

If you made a mistake about my views, I'd certainly be correcting you.

If you were spot-on, I'd say ah.

You're the opposite of FD, old boy You shrieked and frothed for the invasion of Iraq then. FD only spinelessly apologises for it now.

You swapped alliances, no?

Good point FD - and neither is 'sand negro' a race. And stringing it together with 'muslim' does not make it racist. This is your logic by the way, not mine. No one except you is defining 'sand negro' as a race, you are just making it up as you go. Hence words clearly have no meaning - to you.
