Doesn't resemble the Australia where I live, Belgarion.  Nor does it resemble the Australia where any of my relatives live.  Nor does it resemble the Australia where any of my friends live.  It doesn't resemble any of the cities I'm familiar with either.  Perhaps you just don't like people who dress differently, talk differently, look different, act different to what you believe a stereotypical Aussie should, right?   How's your drum lessons going?    Roll Eyes

The point is that Acton DID resemble where you and your family USED to live 30 years ago.

Really?  Full of Italians, Greeks, Serbs, Croats, Poms, Scots Welsh, Dutch, Germans, French?   Roll Eyes

I challenge you to walk down any street in Australia and spot the Poms, Scots, Welsh, Dutch, Germans, French.

You've done it again, Frank - obliterated him.

It ... is ... only ... a ... matter ... of ... time.

Correct.

Once again, let the cynics take a trip to Sydney's entire Parramatta region which covers neighbouring suburbs ... get off the bus, train, or out of your car and go for a walk in any direction - at any time of day.

All good people, but it's no longer 'Australian', but a foreign enclave that's stiff with Indians and Chinese as I haven't seen since I was last in Hong Kong in 1954.

Again, nothing wrong with these people, per se, but if Australia's Dead from World War II in Europe and the Pacific came back to life they would be shocked to the core. They didn't give their lives so foreigners could come swanning in to replace their own offspring in this once-Australian city.

Wouldn't worry me, Herbie.  Just another trip in normal, everyday, Multicultural Australia.  Nor would it worry the dead from WWII, afterall, they'd be Zombies and Zombies don't have emotions.    Roll Eyes

And you are still a lying, unflushable turd.

Brian's hint was that all those ethnicities were just like Muslims, various waves of immigrants being just like other, previous waves.

And my point in response is that he is an idiot like you who will deny reality even as it is hitting you in the nose, drawing blood. Your sport is to be stupid and play lazy, crazy games.

If they didn't speak, it would be more difficult, I grant you but not completely impossible, afterall Poms, Scots, Welsh, Dutch, German, French, first generation migrants, fresh off the boat tend to dress differently to native born Aussies...    Roll Eyes

Muslims are no different to previous waves of immigrants.  Your diatribes are exactly like the hatred and bigotry that was expressed towards the Irish, Catholics, Lutherans, Hindus, Buddhists.  Just as we have come to an accommodation and tolerate them, so we will tolerate Muslims, despite your bigotry and hatred towards them.    Roll Eyes

You are EVEN thicker than I thought and god knows, nobody holds you in greater contempt than I do. (although we might start a competition on that.)

The point is not that I am bothered about not seeing such ethnicities - the point is that NOBODY can tell who is of these ethnicities, UNLIKE being able to tell who is a believing, practicing, committed Muslim.

Total, utter, deliberate lies and stupidity.  You are a liar, Brian, and you know it.

There has NEVER been any deference to and tiptoeing around Lutheran, Hindu, Buddhist beliefs, there has never been any deference to the Catholicism of Italians or the Irish.

They have never threatened bloody violence if their beliefs were not respected, they never refused to stand in court, they did not wage ideological war again Australia and Western civilisation.  Islam and its adherents do.

I am very often aghast at just how totally dishonest and / or stupid you are. Amazing.  I am leaning towards dishonesty - nobody can be so innocently stupid as you.  It must be a deliberate strategy to agitate against plain truths.

And yes, I too like to have 'different cultures around' - so long as they are a small minority that doesn't challenge the host people as a demographic majority.

I returned to Burwood in Sydney after having lived there for 15 years and was swamped by Asians as I stepped out onto the street.

Absolutely unbelievable take-over from the time I was there.

Ask Herbie which race offended him so.

Was it the Danes? The Curries? The Muselman? Which?

I am sorry, Herb. As a guest to our country, I do feel an explanation is warranted for the high level of Boongs and Chows.

Have you thought of writing to Malcolm Fraser?
