The point is according to the powers that be she didn't break any rules.
Just what is it about that you people don't get?
If she travelled there for Government business and fulfilled her responsibilities etc, then on her time off she can do what she damn well pleases. If that involves buying a house, a car, an apartment or a can of coke so what, pollies have lives outside of Parliament you know. They are entitled to it.

If she did something wrong and broke the rules then bad luck for her, it's not like she's a great Health Minister anyway. But apparently she didn't break any rules. Cheesy

She will be booted/demoted in the coming reshuffle because she was STUPID to buy the apartment on an official trip and MORE STUPID not to find a better excuse. Just travel to the GC and buy the unit, paying for the travel yourself! HM does this clown get paid? Over $300,000pa plus allowances? Really, she couldn’t travel to the GC on her own dime?
