The numbers are there if you care to look and have the ability to do a bit of searching.

Howard charged an astronomical amount for an office refit.

Howard was always a big spender of public money on himself. The cost of him living in Kirribilly because his social climbing wife wanted to live on the harbor was millions of dollars a year. He drank in a short time a huge amount of wine bought to replenish the Kirribilly cellars for public functions there.

Yeah. His decision to stay in Kirribilly House because one of his kids was in HS and he didn’t want to move him to another school was a smack in the face to military people who get posted to different units in different states all the time.

The cost of a RAAF plane flying the Rodent every night of Parliament back to Sydney at night and back again in the morning must have been in the millions of dollars a year. The cost to make Kirribilly secure enough to be a PM’s residence was a big part of $1m.

The Kirribilly cellars got restocked and Howard drank that up in a few months, the self–entitled rat!
