Accepting that that purchase was a real impulse buy implies a lot of loyalty to the Libs.

she has APOLOGISED.....you dont apologise if you have NOTHING WRONG>.

Exactly so, cods.

Unfortunately too many MPs from both sides of the political divide get seduced by the idea the tax payer will fund their holidays.

Ley just the one got caught this time. Yes, Labor members have been caught too.

Poor Stunned the mental invalid is trying to sound intelligent again. A true credit to the Lefty class.

Notice how the weak Lefties avoid the actual TOPIC like the plague and dither around trying everything to change the subject and of course try to blame the erudite poster who provides the essentials service of bringing this exposure of corruption to the attention of the concerned readers.

This is why the Lefties have no credibility at all because their lying and denying is just so predictable.

what Ley has done was wrong.. on every count... and shes stooopid to boot.....

it isnt as if this "coincidental" benefits to MPs at the exact time they have  a ministerial trip.

hasnt made headlines in the past....

we even lost the Speaker because at that very thing.. using their expenses for personal business.....

it doesnt matter if it was a side trip.... what next  arrange a wedding to fit in with a govt business trip.... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes..why not...

I dont care if it cost $30 or $3000.. it is not part of their entitlements...personally I think they get more than enough    and they never seem to be satisfied...

she needs to step down...if they ever want to get the message across then they must at all times step down.

X2

I would think that it is almost 100% of them, mostly it is a slap on the wrist when caught and very many of them have been caught and slapped on the wrist.

Yes codsy, Ley should step down.

But we also need to reduce the overgenerous allowances MPS get! The printing allowance has seen Lib MPs & Senators funnel that money to the Lib campaign funds (look up Parakeelia.)

Cut off all allowances, make the MPs justify beforehand any claim for TA or office costs or whatever.

So what did she do wrong again?  Hmmmm.
Apparently nothing unless things have changed in the last hour or so.

What Ley did that was wrong, as she has admitted by agreeing to repay the TA fraudulently claimed, was that she made four trips to the GC to arrange the purchase of that apartment. A presser, meeting unspecified stakeholders etc were the thin veneer of official duties used to claim the TA.

More likely than not.
You have no proof just your obsessive bias.
The call is she broke no rules.
Unless the department changes that ruling then SHE BROKE NO RULES.

Odd she handed back the coin for three or was it four seperate visits , why would she do that ? If it was within the rules ?

And of course she said she did nothing wrong, at least she is not stupid enough to say “I fradulently claimed that money!” AFP would be taking her to answer questions quick smart. Geez, my dog could figure that one out: she can sit amongst the scattered rubbish of the rubbish bin she upended on the kitchen floor and clearly indicate “It wasn’t ME!”  Cheesy

It's ok Juliar that again you (time and time again) that you created a failed thread supporting your side.
A thread about corruption?  We certainly can agree that the libs need a serious look at.  So why don't you start telling us what the libs need to do to fix their corrupting behaviours.
Oh wait, your limited vocab is such that all you have are just some random insults, hoping that they hit the mark.

Come on, mate.  Not as dumb and immature as you in debating.  When you start debating rationally, believe me, people will start to think you have an iota of intelligence.  At this stage, single digit IQs like you are making this forum a happier place - we just laugh at the comedy you provide, taking satisfaction at the stupid posts you make.  Thank you juliar, for making our days more amusing.  Truly.

The mental invalid Poor Stunned is STILL trying to sound intelligent.

Just goes to show what Socialist indoctrination can do.
