Abos evolved to survive in the harsh Aussie outback.

If we were in the outback for 3 days we would be sun burnt & dead from lack of water.

An Abo would be fine.
They can go longer without water - plus they know how to find bush tucker.

*SIGH*, no they can't go longer without water.  Learning how to find bush tucker is acquired knowledge, nothing more.   Anybody can learn that skill, Bobby.   Indigenous Australians are not inherently superior at bush survival.  There have been numerous cases over the last 20 years where they have died because they don't know where water is or where bush tucker is.   The destruction of their culture and families has destroyed their knowledge base.   Roll Eyes

Someone said we could not judge a person's Aboriginality on their skin colour.  Why isn't that applied in the matter of Pascoe?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Come on bwian don't hide behind that untruth racial differences have been established.

Genetically?  Where?  Show me a scientific paper that has identified a Gene that determines what "Race" a person is, Grendel. otherwise piss off.   "Race" is a social construct.  It was created by racists to identify groups of people on physical characteristics, nothing more.   Physical characteristics which were evolutionary adaptations.   There is no Genetic difference between a human being from the UK or Japan or Africa or Australia.   We all have the same Genes.   It is what makes us Humans, Grendel.

I'm sorry bwian but I never mentioned gene or genetic...  you keep building strawmen and lying about what I say though.
What sort of lying hypocrite does that make you then eh?
Race is all about physical characteristics bwian...  now you are saying humans have different physical characteristics... Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
Well guess what...  you just said there are races. Cheesy

Come on bwian don't hide behind that untruth racial differences have been established.  It's not about genetics or the PC belief of some human genome project scientist.  We are talking about reality here.
There are Aboriginal; artists, singers, entertainers, sportmen and women...  etc, who are just as good and just as competent as any in any other race.  Racism is a crock always has been always will be.

What no apology for lying about me and calling me a racist...  you have sunk to new lows bwian... Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Thanks Rhino,
it's called natural selection.
Those who died from thirst didn't survive to pass on their genes.
I feel superior to be able to educate these numbskulls.

Brian likes to think all people are the same, there are no races and no specific racial characteristics. This is of course, nonsense. Its indisputable that racial groups adapted to their climate just as desert aboriginals are able to go much longer without water than white people, their bodies have adapted to use less water in extreme heat. How they are able to do this is mainly due to physical characteristics, less sweat glands, dark skin, wide noses etc.

How long can you live without Water?

How long can you live without water? A person can survive only three to five days without water, in some cases people have survived for an average of one week. It is not recommended that anyone try this at home. Once the body is deprived of fluids the cells and organs in the body begin to deteriorate. The presence of water in the body could mean the difference between life and death.

The human body is made from cells, bones, organs, and fluids. The functionality and longevity of the body depends on many factors. For instance, a person who goes without food and not water will live for quite a bit longer. This is because every organ in the body needs water to continue living. The survival of the kidney, and heart, and the purity of the blood depend on the adequate intake of water.

The role water plays in maintaining the functionality of the body is remarkable. Without water the body will perish; that has already been established. Another disadvantage of the body being deprived of water is the lack of oxygen and nutrients that water carries throughout the body. Water is used to flush impurities out of the body. That is why it is important to urinate or empty the bladder often; to avoid infections and other illnesses. The kidney works as a filter, by eliminating waste from the body in the form of a liquid.

A dry body cannot absorb or digest foods. Bones will lose it cushioning and become more prone to breaks, and infections. The body needs at least 8 glasses or 64 ounces of water per day. This is to ensure that all the cells and organs in the body are being properly watered. When the body is given other liquids over a long period of time, the body may experience urinary tract infections, or bladder infections. This is because other liquids may contain a small percentage of water, they do not contain enough water to make a profound difference in the amount of water the body needs. The human body needs a large quantity of water on a daily basis in order to stay healthy.

Indigenous Australians are not unique in this regard, three days is the average that people can survive without water, a week is the maximum.   Roll Eyes

Are you saying that 60,000 years of natural selection in Australia
did nothing to change the genes of Aboriginals?
