Yawn the welfare card, go back to your theory. BTW did you venture out into the night life in port Augusta or were you to busy with the brasso on the eyelets of your boots or doing time on DP whilst in SA.

How long can you live without Water?

Indigenous Australians are not unique in this regard,
three days is the average that people can survive without water,
a week is the maximum.   Roll Eyes

Are you saying that 60,000 years of natural selection in Australia

did nothing to change the genes of Aboriginals?

Not appreciably, Bobby.  Not to the point that they don't need water like every other human being.

But nobody claimed that Brian. The statement was that Abos can last longer without water. This is accurate and is due to physical adaptation to their environment. You are owned on this not because you didnt know it but because you refuse to accept it.

When are you going to provide a link to a scientific paper that suggests otherwise?  Mmmm?   Roll Eyes

Raven has not heard of a single scientific study that shows Aboriginal people can survive longer then other races.

Aboriginal people may have appeared to survive longer without water to early settlers but that was because they knew where to find water that others did not.

I said before -
if my memory is correct it was something like 1 day before death for a European in the hot desert
& 3 days before death for an Aborigine.

In nature and evolution something superior comes along and it's competition either dies out or consumed by interbreeding. That's what's happening to the aborigines. It's a tech savy world now. Throwing a spear is old news. It's a story that's been played out over and over throughout the ages.

Never known any Indigenous Australians who could throw a spear, Hammer.  All my friends lived in suburbia, like the rest of Australian society.   They have adapted to the "tech savvy world". Its a shame that so many righties haven't (look at the technical section to see Herbie's latest laments about his computer)...   Roll Eyes

Suburban aborigines are mostly  part bloods and are in the process of being consumed by interbreeding like I said. The same thing will happen to the real aborigines on the land in time.

Not believing in the concept of "race" and not being a racist, I don't particularly care, Hammer.  You can play your "race" card somewhere else.   Tsk, tsk.    Roll Eyes

I'm just telling the truth. As the world population gets larger people will move into aboriginal land to live and collect  resources. Then they will be consumed. It's just nature. Nothing stays the same in nature. Just like how the white population in Australia is being changed so will the aboriginal population. Smiley
