Trump is ridiculous..

A country can't have an open border in this day and age. It's silly and dangerous. Something needs to be done about it.

I agree we need to protect borders believe me..but a wall.? Come on..not feasible..not realistic..

tighter and more constant patrols.. the greater and more effective use of technology etc. maybe get some drones involved I don't know..but a wall. Retrograde thinking..

I believe his use of a wall is more symbolic . He wants to make their border impenetrable . I'd say they'll draw up plans for it and put in whatever it takes . Fences, cameras, walls, probably bases built along the border where security people can embark quicker. Better patrolling. Strengthen the laws. There's plenty of things that can be done as well as better defences.

So they get the taxpayer to pay billions for a symbolic wall..yes makes sense to some..better to put that money into real solutions rather than a useless ineffective symbolic wall...greater and more vigilant patrols ..the old tried and true ways..just up the ante' ..technology ( laser etc) can greatley enhance security- someone needs to talk sense into this old bugger.... but passing on a massive waste of taxpayers money is irrisponsible.

Symbolic as in a barrier and not jus bricks and mortar. It will be a functioning barrier (a wall). Like a firewall in computer terms. Not a wall but wall as a descriptive use.
