Trump hasn't got time for such behaviour.

Seems like the only news on TV  - every day - is what Trump has done -
always a new executive order.

What will Ivanka do?

Dwarves?

Very funny video but a little contrived & hardly Oscar winning performances.

I didn't nominate it for an Oscar, Bobby. You should have quit at "very funny video".

Is it ethical for a Psychotherapist to make and share a diagnosis about someone without their consent?

AS long as they are not their personal physician.

Just another in a series of seeing Trump soon to be impeached

i think this "diagnosis" is a classic example of an intellectual who is "stuck in his head" not understanding the very important aspect of mental health that comes from "taking action".

Trump may have some personality issues. He might be (or rather he might have been) arrogant, selfish, pompous, opinionated , self important, have delusions of grandeur, entitled.

We all do...a lot of 2 or 3 yo kids see themselves as the "centre of the universe"  and some people never grow out of this.

They are perpetual "cry babies", they want their mummy to fix all their problems. they think whining and complaining are solutions.

I call them "leftards"  Wink.  read their posts...they dont take responsibility for sh*t and they want to be nurtured.

Now the good doctor , safe in his tenured position in a university , holds this position because he likes the safety of tenure. And he likes to complain . Ane he thinks his opinions "matter"  because...well, just because.

But Trump has not been allowed to remain a perpetual child.
He has been mixing in the business world all his life.
If you are a "boss" and you behave like an entitled child, you will be destroyed. The business world will grind off all those patterns of selfish behaviour , failures will teach you the lesson not to be arrogant. trump has a lifetime of "refernce experiences" which have made him understand human psychology at the level of the street, something the good doctor should remember when he is lusting after his young students and feeling all butt hurt that they would rather party with an alpha like Trump, then a butt hurt beta male like himself

Keep the BS flowing, Trump will get more support this sort of garbage.

Drain the swamp quicker, hard working citizens dont have time to give a toss about reading this nonsence, but the echo chamber of elites will be able to nod sagely and agree amongst themselves whilst tut tutting intelligently to each other....

Poor lefties still haven't got it. 'Psycho-analysis' isn't going to change the Trump train. Leftists need to reflect on why their 'victim' and identity politics was rejected.

Johns Hopkins’ Top Psychotherapist Releases Terrifying Diagnosis Of President Trump

By Olive Murphy - January 27, 2017

If there’s one thing we can say about Donald Trump, it’s that he’s unlike any other world leader we’ve seen to date. The problem, however, is that his differences fail to set him apart in a positive manner.

Almost daily, Trump tweets about the “biased media,” “fake news,” or a world leader who has suddenly done something so terrible that he must take to Twitter to publicly berate them. Notice, however, that it’s always someone else with the problem. It’s never him.

However, John D. Gartner, a registered psychotherapist from the renowned Johns Hopkins University Medical School seems to think Trump may, in fact, be the one with the problem. Gartner, who teaches psychiatric residents at Hopkins, decided to break the ethical code known as the “Goldwater Rule” in order to warn the American public about the dangerousness of our new commander-in-chief’s mental state.

The “Goldwater Rule” is defined as “the informal term for part of the ethics code of the American Psychiatric Association saying it is wrong to provide a professional opinion of a public figure without examining that person and gaining consent to discuss the evaluation.”

Trump’s Democratic challenger, Hillary Clinton called it first. She said Trump is “temperamentally unfit” to serve as president, following his numerous sexist remarks about women, mocking of a disabled reporter, and blatantly racist statements about basically every single human being who isn’t white.

Gartner, who is also the author of In Search of Bill Clinton: A Psychological Biography, says “Donald Trump is dangerously mentally ill and temperamentally incapable of being president.”

According to USNews, Gartner unofficially diagnosed Trump with “malignant narcissism.” Although he himself has not personally examined Trump, Gartner claims it’s obvious from watching even a little of his behavior that he meets the diagnostic criteria for the disorder. Some of the characteristics include:

Anti-social behavior
Sadism
Aggressiveness
Paranoia
Grandiosity
Entitled
Regressed
Manipulative
Destructive
Egocentric
Use of projection
Lack of conscience
Narcissistic
Gartner says that individuals with malignant narcissism often lack impulse control and empathy. He also says many who suffer from this disorder believe that others around them don’t recognize their greatness.

‘We’ve seen enough public behavior by Donald Trump now that we can make this diagnosis indisputably,’ Gartner claims.

As Psychology Today notes, “Malignant Narcissists will go to great lengths to achieve their aim.  They can be intelligent, high functioning (hold an important job for example) soft-spoken, charming, tearful/seemingly emotional, gracious, well-mannered, kind and have the ability to form relationships. They may lie, falsely accuse, dramatize, smear, cheat, steal, manipulate, accuse, blame or twist to get what they want and feel justified in doing so. Because they are entitled, egocentric and desperate, they do not experience it as wrong.”

Malignant narcissists are:

‘Determined to gratify their wishes and furious if thwarted. Their desire can be so consuming that there is little comprehension of, respect for or ability to empathize with the other.  They lack guilt or remorse and tend to feel or pronounce that it is they who have been mistreated. They can be of any gender, race or social class.’

As if that weren’t enough, malignant narcissism is incurable.

So there you have it. The leader of the United States of America is more than likely a malignant narcissist who has the fate of the free world in his two tiny hands. Not to mention, he now has access to the United States government’s nuclear codes. If that’s not terrifying, we don’t know what is.

Isn't adultery one of the seven deadly sins. A leader should be somebody to aspire to.

Do you aspire to be a 'Barack Obama' only because he never had an extra-marital affair?
No. He was a poor leader. That's why I don't aspire to be him. He left a country in a mess and looked after other people instead of his own people too many times.

So his marital fidelity is not enough for you to aspire to be him, i.e. his fidelity is irrelevant to you... Why then is infidelity not irrelevant to you?

Because, if it's not irrelevant to you, then you should have a problem with Trump.
I have various criteria for a leader. One is performance and one is the quality of his moral fibre.

Were you trying to be funnyy? Trump? Moral fibre?

As a psychotherapist, it does. You can't do proper psychotherapy via tele.  SO this i not a proper or ethical or professional psychotherapist assessment. It's a private assessment by someone who happens to be a psychotherapist and who is unethical enough to pretend that there is any professional credibility to his private opinion.

But you, of course, are more than eager to be fooled.

Nope. You are confusing Public with Private personae.

He would need to have multiple sessions alone with him for an accurate diagnosis.

But that goes against the grain, for you.

Bring out the rope. Guilty by inference. Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
