Yes I've been bullied plenty of times. It doesn't get to me very often, but when it does - I walk away because there is no sense in arguing or trying to justify yourself to one, two, three etc of them.

I can defend myself usually without resorting to gross insults, but I get more upset at other people being bullied than I do with those who bully me. Some people can't deal with it very well at all and a lot of good people have walked away from these forums because they couldn't defend themselves any longer.

The moderators here can't protect everyone and I suppose like all humans they have to use a process of elimination and then their personal feelings towards a person might come into it.

I hate cruelty though, that being relentless taunting, excessive abuse and personal attacks. What can anyone do about it? If you cut out all the dead wood - then a forum will die because those left will bore each other to death.

We have to appreciate that it can be difficult for mods to sort the chaff from the wheat, can't be that be easy to a mod. He/she has to deal with so many complaints within the same day...they have no way of knowing who and what started and how far back it goes..as with the Ozpol/PA stuff.

I have posted within a post of one in here a few times..I can post after her on that thread, never refer to her, be on topic and she will loudly and predictably yell.." your stalking me with your droppings again" I mean seriously what the hell..this person does it to draw attention to herself and somehow exclaim that I am saying and doing something I am not.. she does it to draw attention from a mod.. usually you Set..so what I cannot post after her.. even if I dont mention her , even if it is just my own opinion , It happens so often now I feel like I am being persecuted..by her- I only have to disagree with what she says and it is yells "stalker". She is being so childish and stupid. She trolls more than most in here..and yet she calls me names..a troll who yells troll..but more to cause me trouble and get me banned...in this case it she who is trying to persecute me and use a mod to get to me, to ban me. How do mods deal with someone like that..how are they to see what is really her intent or intention when she cries "troll" stop following me"..and give the troublemaker her "fix") !
Yes folks there are some in here whose whole point of posting is to cause trouble for one or two posters in here...they are that bored, they are that petty . I am not only one she does this to and she has one or two others, strange that they are female as well.

How can a mod know exactly the dynamic here when faced with someone like that..so because they really cannot know, they just go after the one being complained about because its all just too hard.. therefore the troublemaker gets her fix and the victim starts to feel very persecuted.

When it yells"stop stalking me" or similiar and i just have to ignore. Hate to be a mod. But also hate to be the victim of someone like that ! I feel i should be able to post without that kind of hysterical crap being yelled at me and I feel if a mod does get involved.. tell both to behave rather than take a side of a troublemaker/complainer..it really is the only thing he can do that is fair to both, after a while without the pay off, the trouble maker will stop. Yes sometimes I do post after it has posted..big deal..if I am not being offensive to her and merely offering my opinion, as I too am entitled too, then leave it. It's best to stay well away from people who are hostile AG - and hopefully they might leave you alone.

Bullying and abuse has become a big problem online in all venues. If the professionals can't solve it - what hope have we got of a resolution?

The only thing you can do is let them make an idiot of themselves on their own.

I feel i should be able to post without that kind of hysterical crap being yelled at me and I feel if a mod does get involved.. tell both to behave rather than take a side of a troublemaker/complainer..it really is the only thing he can do that is fair to both, after a while without the pay off, the trouble maker will stop. Yes sometimes I do post after it has posted..big deal..if I am not being offensive to her and merely offering my opinion, as I too am entitled too, then leave it. Dont buy in..if you have to buy in..pm the the one being complained about rather than attack the one being complained about..publicly dealing with a complaints gives the troublemaker her "fix"..because she/he has achieved her goal..public shaming of the victim.

It's best to stay well away from people who are hostile AG - and hopefully they might leave you alone.

Bullying and abuse has become a big problem online in all venues. If the professionals can't solve it - what hope have we got of a resolution?

The only thing you can do is let them make an idiot of themselves on their own.

Of course you are right, and dang why do you have to be always right?

This nasty one is just so underhand and sneaky .. needs to get a life.
