I can understand that. The mind is powerful, but it can also be weak. Substituting an unfavourable reality for one where the person in question is special and meaningful is a great way to help survive dire and life-threatening situations, like a kidnapping, almost as a defence mechanism.

But when the stress is over, the mind usually snaps back over time.

The fact that Lie'ght hasn't snapped out of it does concern me, but mainly because it may mean his real life situation isn't any better than what it was when it triggered this prolonged episode.

He may very well be an unwilling victim after all.

Mental health issues are nothing to make fun of and I sometimes forget that this could be the underlying cause for Lie'ghts obvious paranoia and delusional adherence to such wild and fantastic conspiracies in practically every aspect of his life.

You are basically describing every conspiracy theorist. They all act in similar manner. Engage the flat earthers for a while and you will see nothing BUT Light-types everywhere. Not a fact in sight, but they choose to discredit everything that is factual and believe everything that is nonsense. Based on my previous work, I am considering writing a debunking book on so-called Christian Flat Earthers and my research has surprisingly turned up the notion that they may not in fact actually exist. Those who claim to be flat earthers and Christians are merely loons that quote the Bible and dont actually go to church or subscribe to Christian doctrine.

They are sad, sad little people.
