Ohhhhhhh........ Smiley

http://www.toptenreviews.com/home/outdoor/best-robot-lawn-mowers/

I'm so going shopping.

Just need my hubby's approval for this and of course his credit card  Cool  Tongue

Damn!

These mowers are still too new to the Australian market.

They're only just being introduced.

Chances are they'll improve in terms of price and specs over the next few years.

So hubby says no...for now  Cry

Plus our existing mower is still kinda new.

Grrrrrrr. Hate it when he's right  Tongue

If they're anything like robot vac, they won't do what you think they should.

I find mowing the lawn on a Sunday morning quite relaxing and good for the soul to get away from what seems a constant swirl of work issues Monday to Friday ☺

Edit : Sorry meant to add - just give me a normal petrol mower.

What is wrong with pushing a mower around the yard for half an hour each week? Good exercise and a sense of accomplishment. The same for vacuuming the carpet. You just don't know how good a job each piece of equipment is going to do compared to yourself.

I have a huge backyard too. Not big enough for a ride on mower. But big enough to have me take an hour to complete properly. But it seems ridiculous to spend a couple thousand on an automatic mower.

If I don't use a catcher I can do mine in 35 minutes.
I find it's easier to do the front yard one day & the backyard the next day.

Thanks for the PM, Booby.

Looks like you've done a good job on your 'front yard'.
