Quoth the Raven "Nevermore"

Raven would rather ask questions that may never be answered, then accept answers which must never be questioned.

strange, That vid keeps talking about racist violence but most of the home grown politically driven violence is from the far left. So the vid is a crock, or more accurately, inaccurate propaganda.

If someone posted a video of a bunch of ignorant blacks/whatever behaving badly? Another bunch or piss weak people.

I would not come to the conclusion the video does.

Ignorance is not racism, it's the default position of the human mind.
Ignorance is not a mental disease.

But racism is ignorance.

Are you saying that's a default position?

Yes that is the default position of the human mind.

I disagree. Children tend to be ore accepting of difference than adults.

If racism is ignorance (which i'm sure cannot be contested) then children would, by default, be racist.

They are not.

Racism is taught. Yet it is ignorant. And not default ignorance.

Stanta, looks lik it' all more complicated than you would have us believe.

Apparently Im racist. I recognise differences between races and culture. I also believe that some cultures are inherently superior to others. Yet, I would be the first to step in if someone was bullying or targeting a person because of their race or culture. Im also tired of the anti  brigade trying to make it all about skin colour. Like most Australians I dont give a bugger about skin colour and never have. And Im not mentally ill, although "mental illness" is a very broad spectrum.

Ignorance? Why is religion taught? Why are the followers breeding ignorance? The dark can only be afraid of light, therefore bring out the parasol.

Nope Setanta is right....  they are a bunch of dopes.
You can be ignorant of many things...  that doesn't make you automatically racist.

I find it rather ironic that a racist talks about what racism is...   Roll Eyes

Someone said we could not judge a person's Aboriginality on their skin colour.  Why isn't that applied in the matter of Pascoe?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
