Farq off to the Denpasar forum which is more relevant to you. Since when has it been compulsory to shake someone's hand? Any schoolkid, from any school or any religion, can refuse to shake someone's hand. Your Islamophobia has allowed you to be sucked in by a non-story, once again. Making special rules for a crackpot religion? No, they're not. It's never been compulsory for schoolkids to shake hands. Any child in Australia can refuse to shake hands with anyone they like. You've been fooled, once again. Once Islamophobia gets into the brain, it slowly eats it away. Then why are only the rag head kids mentioned, why doen't the dept state as you have said that every NSW kid has the right to be a rude little prick? That wouldn't make a good story, would it? It's just another " Muslims steal Christmas" story. I can guarantee you that no non-Muslim child will be punished for not shaking someone's hand. Isn't that the point Gweggy the discourtesy of refusing the handshake? Nothing to see here, folks. Move along. The point is, this is a non-story. No child is forced to shake hands. If a non-Muslim child at that school, or any other school, refuses to shake hands they will not be punished. You can't punish a child for refusing to make physical contact with another human. I'd like to see someone try. The NSW government was pretty adamant that this level of disrespect ONLY applied muslin scumbags and not other children. Maybe you didn't read the whole story, unless of course, the NSW government Representative is lying. We should see a retraction soon then, hey? The phrase " ONLY applies to Muslims" was not used. I can assure you that no child will be punished for refusing to make physical contact with another human being, no matter what religion they may or may not be a member of. If you know of any cases where children are being punished for not shaking hands, you're more than welcome to share them with us. As I said before: this is a non-story, designed to ruffle the feathers of irrational, uneducated Islamophobes. On that score, mission accomplished. Only filthy little muslims were mentioned, got any evidence that this rule applies to all children. The onus is you to prove that it's compulsory for all children (except Muslims) to shake hands. You are the one making the claim. When you find a case of a non-Muslim child being punished for not having physical contact with another human being, you'll be sure to let us all know - okay? ... myself and the representative from the NSW department of education stated it applied to muslims and ONLY muslims ... No representative from the NSW Department of Education has stated that it applies ONLY to Muslims. That's just a lie. However, seeing as you have made that claim, the onus is now on you to prove it. Let us all know how you go, okay? So who else did they mention? Hindus Buddhists Jews Christians Athiests Satanists Who were these other groups that were allowed to be disrespectful to women, I only saw muslims mentions, feel free to show the rest of the list. When they only mention one group to receive special treatment, then it is only that group that receives special treatment, ya fool. They don't have to say only because it is fkken redundant you dolt.
