PETA are CRAZY - Hunters and Collectors

I guess this means there is no more animal cruelty in the world because PETA surely would be putting there efforts there first.

PETA asks Hunters & Collectors to change name because it 'promotes' killing of animals

I have some more suggestions

Midnight Oil - promotes AGW and/or palm oil plantations
Skyhooks - Hooks used for fishing are cruel
AC/DC - change name to photoelectric
The Saints - change name to The Imams
Icehouse - Promotes AGW skepticism
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - sounds too much like a GMO
Spiderbait - cruelty to spiders
Tame Impala - Impalas should run free

In one of the more bizarre feats of activism to ever cross the music industry, an anti-animal cruelty organisation is calling on iconic Aussie rockers Hunters & Collectors to change the band's name.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals have apparently written an open letter to the band, expressing that in the lead-up to duck-hunting season the band should change their name "to discourage people from hunting animals".

The only way they get noticed is with stupid campaigns like this one. Don't worry, some dumb celebrity will agree with them and donate millions towards their cause because of it.

I upset one the other day.
I said I was a vegetarian, she became all friendly like.
Then I stated.
"I only eat animals that eat vegetables, so I'm a vegetarian by default."

She got all angry like and started going off.

so I said.
"That's all right, Ill buy you some meat so your hormones can re-align themselves if you like."

She said naughty things to me after that, so I walked away.
I was afraid she would try and hit me, and with those atrophied sticks she had for arms, I thought she might hurt herself.

However, it will remind many more people that duck slaughtering season opens shortly, and that the H&C are doing a reunion gig in Adelaide soon.

PETA have got us talking about them, and H&C are going to get a big crowd at their reunion gig.
