Axe attack Dusseldorf
Mar 10th, 2017 at 10:07am

Dusseldorf train station axe attack injures at least five, man arrested: police

A man has been arrested after injuring five people with an axe at Duesseldorf's main train station late on Thursday, police said, correcting earlier police reports of two arrests.

A spokeswoman for Duesseldorf police, Anja Kynast, said the man arrested was also injured. She was unable to say how serious any of the injuries were.

Earlier, a spokesman for federal police, who are usually in charge of policing train stations, had said two people were arrested and further attackers might be on the run.

Another police spokesman said police were investigating whether more attackers had been involved but had no indication of that.

"We are not using the words 'rampage' or 'terror'," the spokesman said.

He added there was no serious threat of further attacks. The rail station remained shut down, he added

Okay, I clicked on your ABC link and read the story.

However, it says nothing about 'We are not using the words 'rampage' or 'terror'," the spokesman said.'

I'm not suggesting anything - I'm stating a fact.

The link you provided does not contain that line.

So, what's going on?

Gordy's blaming the ABC now.

Says they "updated their article".

The mainstream media often edit their stories as the develop, especially if they think a minority might be offended.
