I thought there would be a Thread already about this, but it seems not.  Isn't that place supposed to be shut down as per Order of the Supreme Court of PNG.

Anyway....what is going on?  PNG Military firing at civilians?????

Huh?

Ever been to PNG?

It is a fairly regular occurrence to quell rioting of their own people, so a couple of bat sh1t mussies aren't going to get any special treatment.

I flew into one of the mines I was working at after a riot, the soldiers were still patrolling and quite a few of the homes were still smouldering; they do not fkk around up there.

What happens if one of these bullets fired by PNG Military kill/wound a refugee there under our patronage?

Same as it would be if an actual Australian gets killed up there, only the social justice warriors will get their panties bunched up a whole heap further.

PNG is a dangerous place, between the rascals, the police & PNGDF during riots, you need to maintain a high level of personal security.

The PNG govt made a submission to the court which was accepted that the detention centre  is situated on the the naval base Lombrum. As the men there are free to leave during the day they are not considered to be detained.

Yet it is those providing the security that are shooting at civilians....Where does Australia's obligation to ensure the safety of these refugees cease to exist???

Yet their travel is restricted by virtue of their detention....Allowing someone restricted freedom does not set them free!!!

Hard to say what the actual truth is looks to me like they have found a legal loophole and are exploiting it.
